  • Called the Belmont, and Cannington stores in Perth. Their price is listed at $199.

This is most probably a store special.

HN in Maroochydore says they know nothing about it. Will do better than the $182, but nowhere near $125. :(

And I should refresh before responding. Still good offer if you live near the store. Bricks and mortar stores always worth an extra $10 IMO. And HN has 2 yr warranty, while the online options listed say they offer 1 yr. Correct me if thats additional to any manufacturers warranty.

    • When I purchased mine it came up on the register as $182 but as they had a whole stack with a large sign $125 clearly stating the model RS 120 II so they ended up charging me $125.

  • Anyone know hot to use a wireless headset with a TV?
I went to Bing Lee today to get one and he said that the wireless headsets don't work with modern TVs.

I would have thought they just plug into the headphone jack. Unless the TV doesnt have a 3.5mm headphone connection, all mine do. But then most TVs would have some form of audio out, in whcih case you would look for a headphone jack in the device the TV audio is run through. If its not plugged into anything, and the TV does not have a headphone plug, then yep, youre probably out of luck.

      • No headphone jack in my TV. It is a Panasonic Plasma 50", bought within the last 6 months.

          Optical Audio Out only?

Yeah I had the same issue

I ended up getting a headphone set from the gamesmen, and have it running through my xbox now from a bargain that was posted here a little before christmas.

        • Yep, optical audio out only.

How have you set it up? I'm guessing optical audio to your Xbox, which I presume has a headphone jack? Or something more complicated?

          Perhaps there exists a converter…

        • Nvm. Optical only I see.

This was the set, and its still on special.

          https://www.gamesmen.com.au/catalog/headset-tritton-720-duo-…

It plugs directly into my xbox 360 via optical, comes with the converter/amplifier thing…

I had the same problem also, so annoying. Seems that the entire new range of Panasonic models don't have headphone jacks.
I bought this optical to analog converter on eBay. It just arrived today so I have to test it. Link below

And by the way the RS120 headphones work great! Price match at office works and it will come below $120. Can't go wrong.

        • Thanks for the two comments above. Very useful.

The converter looks like it should work. Please let us know how you like it.

  • They were $99 at HN Campbelltown last week on a clearance table. Had about 10 of them as well.
