  • How's the taste? Thinking of purchasing a fair few. :)

    • For $2.49… They're pretty good!
They make for a great quick weekend lunch or dinner!

      • Thanks mate. Will grab some soon! :D

The Aldi ones for $3 taste alright and you don't need a commercial freezer to store them

Mama Mia! Goodbye 6 pack, hello spare tire! jiggly jig, wobble wobble

What??? These go great with a 6 pack!!! ;)

Right in time for beach season

"excuse me mister? Yes, thats good, stand just there. My family needs some shade to sit under."

Any free shipping codes still available?

Are those 4 their only flavours? How about some meat pizzas??!!

    • +2

Sorry, all of Australia's Wagyu has been bought up by Dominos for their $50 pizzas.

  • I got these when they were $2.20, I didn't like them.

  • +13

These make excellent bases to dress up with your own "good" ingredients, especially the four cheese or mushroom ones.

    • +1

agreed, 4 cheeses is the most versatile one since their basic mozz isn't very cheesy

    • +1

I agree, if you're just looking to have this as a pizza without putting your own ingredients on it, you'll be thoroughly disappointed.

    Aldi pizzas are always $3….

    • -1

Your point is they are always more expensive?

      I hate aldi pizzas.

        ^FYI, (2.49 / 0.4) - (3.00 / 0.5) =
        +$0.225/kg 'More pricey' "@WOW," âś“Always

With ALDI generally accepted to be of the higher standard
and-if others pricing incompetently doesn't give that away .

Last year was 2013,not 2012,isn't it?

    • Yep, sorry, got too excited, it was mid April, 2013. Happy for mods to change.

The cheese pizza is pretty good for adding your own toppings to. For $2.50 (don't forget to use your ING card for more winning) it's a bargain.

  • +3

Have tried these and they are not even worth $2.49. Terrible pizza. Dr Oetker's on special are a much, much better buy.

    • Dr. Oetker is currently on special for $5 each at Woolworths and are 100% worth the extra $2.50

      • Are they better than $5 Dominos pickup?

      • These are not the ristorante version, but the acquired 'papa guiseppe' brand; not amazing IMO. As others have stated, the Woolworths select range are a decent pizza base, or I use it a side when eating pasta; not as a sole meal.

        • Pizza as a side?!

          Obesity here I come!!

        • Obviously I dont eat a full pizza + pasta! I share the pizza amongst 3 other people - Protip: its cheaper than garlic bread and tastes much better!

  • Are these pizzas large size, i.e. about 9 inch?

    • They are multi-fit.

  • Must be finished now, it's showing $5.36 online. Does anyone know if in store is still cheaper. Cheers

    • +3

It will be $2.49 on Wednesday Jan 8th, thats why its coming up full price online.
