Have anyone used the giftcard yet? I know that the items sold in Westfield are pricey. So if anyone has any suggestion that would be great.
What is the best way to use the $20 Westfield gift card?

Anything but make sure spend over the gift card value. Learnt my lesson - Coles refused to give few dollars change back when spending was less than the Westfield gift card value citing policy.

lol Why would they give you change when paying with gift cards?? You can spend the remaining amount at other stores, even theres $0.03 left. You dont have to spend the full $20 - unless this is a diff type of gift card.
Best thing to do with left over gift cards is to use them at the woolies self serve checkout when you're doing a small shop.
The machine doesn't bitch and complain when you want to use x5 gift cards with values ranging from 9c to $1.94 on them rofl.
Theres a small supermarket chain called Woolworths that you can use it on :). It works at all woolworths as far as I know whether inside a Westfield or not.
go into BigW or Woolworths and buy a $20 WISH card?

Purchase a coles myer gift card.
I used mine at Aldi Chatswood today. I am now wondering if they can be used at all Aldi supermarkets. Use the SAV button.
Interesting, Aldi Chatswood wasn't participating in Westfield gift cards a year ago. Thanks for the tip. I used mine on coffee and Hoyts last time.
I successfully used a Westfield gift card at Aldi North Sydney this week.
How does that work? It's not inside a Westfield. Does Aldi just lump all their claims sending to WGC?
After they open up the Eftpos terminal to accept the gift card in one store, they probably can't stop it on store by store basis.
BTW, My groceries total was below the value of credit on the gift card. I did not have to ask the operator to only take off the amount available on the card.
I have tried using the Westfield card at a random Woolworths and Big W and it has worked in both - no Westfield in sight!
Same. Use at ANY Woolies or Big W (even outside Westfields) and they work
I asked to use it in a random Lowes today and was told that they wouldn't accept it (Lowes Warringah Mall is inside a Westfield). They didn't actually try it though.
Use it at a Kmart Self Service to buy a $20 Coles-Myer GC as it worked for me
I used my one in BigW to give me a discount oh an iPad mini :)
