      Hi Thecrevis,

      I believe there had been an issue last year with the battery indicator coming on prematurely when in movie mode despite the battery actually being at full or near full charge. Canon addressed this with a firmware update in mid 2013. http://support-au.canon.com.au/contents/AU/EN/0400085302.htm…

        According to a user review on Amazon: "I repurchased a new SX280 with the hope that the low battery warning issue has been fixed by this firmware update. I updated the new camera to the new firmware 1.0.2.0 from 1.0.1.0 following the procedure in the PDF file. The premature low battery warning in the video mode for the updated SX280 has improved but not fixed." Might be worth researching this issue before purchasing.

    I tried to purchase and its tell me that I have to pay $19 in Freight, and you mentioned the shipping is free, how to make it free shipping ?

      Yes freight is free today on this deal. The Freight charge is autofilled in the order. Please note it gets deducted from the order at the time payment is actually processed and your order is despatched. You will see this reflected in the invoice when you receive it.

    Search "canon low battery alert" before youy purchase any non-DSLR Canon camera. Damned annoying fault with no consistent solution on many of their cameras, including my S3-IS.
