Saw this deal at Catch of the day and thought it's a bargain.

Own the A151 that I bought at end of 2012 when Meelec had them on sale. Great Balanced armature driver earphones.

It looks like the one from COTD has no Mic while Meelec current model has a built-in Mic.

      Unless they have at least two BA drivers, give me good dynamic driver earphones any day of the week. Cheap BA is as bad as any other cheap earphones but more expensive.

      No. For noticable upgrade, you may need to spend more than $300 like: Shure SE535 or Westone 4R (or the newer model W40 with 4 drivers).

    Damn I just bought some sony xba-c10 earphones about an hour ago for $50 from ozgameshop. Anyone know if I'd be better off cancelling and getting these?

      cant say about the sonys, but if you want balanced armature drivers, these are very good. I got a set of A151P directly from MEE just a month ago and they're brilliant.

    I own the JVC HA-S4X and they're extremely uncomfortable. My ears are usually sore after a short period. I've had them for over a year and I'm still not used to it
