One of the biggest bargains ever seen here. Save a cool $900 million - Thats a lot of coin

FOR those who want Monaco wherever they go, a super ship designed to mimic the billionaires' playground city needs an owner, and is less than a third of its original asking price.

Toys include a go-cart track that replicates the F1 circuit, a helipad, mini-submarine, speedboats, jet skis, swimming pools, tennis courts and cinema.

I'll wait for my bitcoins to be worth a few million each and then buy that. Any day now…

Can I do a price match at Office Works?

    • +1

probably not because its a sale price and on backorder/not created yet. OW will only price match stocked items. give it a go though, find a trainee or something, you might get the price match +5% discount. good luck ;)

  • Beauty, thanks!

  • Is this the most amount saved in OzBargain history?

  • Just bought 1 acre, thanks OP

  • +2

Just waiting for the mandatory "Officeworks price match" comments

    • or the picked up a couple for the kids

      • or bought the entire stock and am now scalping it on eBay for double the price.

        • Broden's business model must be doing well if he can afford this.

    • +2

dont forget also the 5% ING comments

      • +4

At $100 per transaction it would take four million transactions to buy the ship. At an average of 20 seconds per transaction (printing receipt, etc) it would take a little over 2.5 years to complete the transaction, assuming the dedicated OzBargainer stood there 24/7 making the transactions without a break.

        Surely, a worthy challenge.

        • +3

and the 5% discount will end long before you finish your transaction…

        • +3

True but you will save 20 million dollars.. Thats 8 million per year.
          Worth it IMO

        • Yes but what you forget is by the end of 2 years of stalling $400 million will be a bargain given inflation.

        • Actually they have a maximum of $2000/day from the 5% bonus so you cannot achieve that :(

  • Postage?

      Free Shipping

      • HAH!

Highly recommend insurance: it's Monaco, so it's a gamble.

  • I like it. I want one. Yes CM, w' free postage.

  • i wonder how long till these sell out—- i reckon 10 more minutes till its ozbargained

    • +1

It's bait advertising. They're just trying to get people in to sell them more expensive ships.

  • anyone want to go halvesies?

    • I think if we all put in a dollar …. I'll work up a business plan shall I?

  • Just bought one. TNT won't do the delivery. Calling Australian Post for delivery details soon.

    • +3

There's an Italian captain available…or will be once he gets bail.

  • Hmm … No ABN ?

  • Damn! Last time I bought a Rolls Royce after seeing a post here and now this?!
    Gotta control myself this time.

  • I can just see this thread getting deleted by a mod soon. As if any one on ozbargain has a spare 400 million dollars.

  • +7

Only one available. I've reported this for insufficient quantity.

    • not true.. they can build more

      • You'd be pissed, wouldn't you, if you spent upwards of $400m on a unique vessel only to sail into port and see her twin sister moored there?

  • I have a spare change 400 cent. Good deal.

  • Can I claim TRS tax 10% when I leave the country?

  • +5

I'm so annoyed, just bought one the other day at full price. I wonder if my CC company will do purchase protection.

  • +1

Just got this price matched at Officeworks who gave me another 5% off the price. Got another 5% off because of my credit card. Free shipping too. Will let you guys know how my kids like it!

  • Just be aware they don't have any in stock, these need to be "built per order".

  • +1

Not a tennis fan so I will pass.

  • Thanks! I put in an offer, subject to finance.

  • Couldn't we pool our Ozbargain resources and create an Ozbargain Playground? We could point to it and say "see what we did with our savings!"

  • +3

So it's either this, two F-22 Raptors or 235 Bugatti Veyron SuperSports?

    • or a trip on Virgin Galactic!

I was actually looking for a floating city of Paris but thanks anyway OP. A+ for effort.

  • Laputa is real?

  • i heard this is made in china.. do we have a german engineered one?

  • What if we all put in $50k each?

    • There are about 118,000 ozbargain accounts, so we would all only need to put in ~$3,400. A great bargain.

Except you only own 1/118,000 of it :(

      • Yes, but there's a few b/rooms and broom cupboards etc so we could all have a sail away 3 day weekend if we doubled the investment to say made it $2 a head, right? We'd have to save on staff cuts though and get a few sailors.

  • +2

I bet the staff already bought it before we got a chance to…

    • +1

Better be quick before it sails out the door for that price :)

      thats a titanic saving :)

      Lol

  • I'm waiting for the new model to be released.

  • Anyone got a voucher/coupon?

  • This is like whiling away 10 mins wondering and planning what you'd do when you won $70 million. A person can dream.

  • Wow nice 3d sample work on what could be built, the design ain't realistic enough to float properly, now awaits more concept works that might not sink!

  • "We have had a significant amount of interest from the general public wanting to take cruises and a number of enquiries for potential commercial applications."

    Ozbargained?

  • One word ," Titanic"
