One Free Movie Rental at All Blockbuster Kiosks 26th & 27th of January

160
OIOIOI

This is an email sent out to all the Blockbuster Kiosk members and I wanted to share it with all the fans of Ozbargain. I frequest this site quite a bit for myself so I'm happy to be able to finally share something with the community, even if it's from the company I work for.
For this Australia Day (26th) and the 27th of January, all customers can rent ONE free new release overnight when they enter the Promo Code OIOIOI at any Blockbuster Kiosk. To make it easy to remember just think Aussie, Aussie, Aussie OIOIOI. There should be signage at the Kiosks just in case too. This offer isn't valid at the Blockbuster stores.

*Normal hiring conditions apply. Limited time only. While stocks last. See participating kiosks for conditions. Promotional code is valid for one free movie only.

One in NSW too… Maitland. May as well just say QLD only.

      • In VIC we have Wendouree, Mount Clear & Ballarat.
In NSW we have Goonellabah, Ballina, Lismore, Grafton, Yamba, Cooloongatta, Kingscliff & East Maitland.

        • Is there others in VIC? i think i saw one in Newcomb VIC on the weekend? (at Newcomb Central Shopping Centre)

        • As far as I know there are no other Blockbuster Kiosks in VIC, there is a chance it could be another brand.

I just tried searching for a Kiosk for 3000 postcode, and the closest is Bacchus Marsh!? I like saving money but 50km for a free rental is too far for me haha

      OK, because 010101 = 21

Maybe you should have used 011010 for the 26th

  • HI Rep, sorry for being ignorant but the word kiosk confuses me a bit, is this available at the store as well or just Machine like the Hoyts Kiosk(oovie), I never saw a Blockbuster one in my area.

Sorry, should've been clearer. I'll update the post.
It is only available at the Movie Kiosks, not the stores. Yes, similar to the Hoyts Kiosk but lets not talk about them haha :)

  • thanks, much appreciated

  • Pretty sure there was the same or similar deal with Video Ezy stores too (they are the same company so it would make sense)
They are also much more common in NSW/VIc too

    • happy for someone to confirm though

      they are the same company

The are definitely not the same company, their ACN's are different.

      • Both owned by Franchise Entertainment Group which used to be Video Ezy Australasia

Video Ezy is an Australian-based rental and retail chain offering DVD, Blu-ray and Games. With approximately 170 franchised stores within Australia, it is currently the country's largest video rental brand (excluding its sister Blockbuster Australia operations which is owned by its parent company).
