  • I never spend my points, this seems ok! Almost got the manly one -.-

  • The page linked to actually says 5600 for the tickets, double value deal. If we were going to the aquarium we'd need a 2 adults and 2 children pass so I'm not sure this deal would actually save us money. Do you know if they have a family deal on flybuys?

It might save some people money provided they knew exactly when they were going to the aquarium and had the points ready. I can't see whether this is an e voucher or whether you would have to wait 4 weeks for the vouchers to arrive in the post.

It does seem to offer better than 0.5cents per point but only for a limited time and a limited amount of people who would be able to benefit from it.

you're right. must be this heat messing with my brain :).

      edited.

I actually redeemed this offer on 24/07/13 but it's back now. got pdf voucher but i forgot if there's a flybuys number and name at that time.

I'm pretty sure they didn't check for ID last time I use this voucher.

  • its an e voucher :) expires september so plenty of time to use it

I just completed this. They sent me my voucher via e-mail within a minute or so as a PDF to print out. So even though it says '4 weeks' in reality it's basically instant and you don't need to plan a date in advance. It's a great deal for people with no kids or just one kid. I'm not sure how much 'family admissions' are so I'm not sure how many kids you need to have before it becomes a better deal to just buy a family pass.

Hope this info is of some use.

    • Thanks for the info.

Not sure if you can help but do you know if the e-vouchers have to be made out to the FlyBuys account holder(s), or are they not named?

And/or does the FlyBuys membership card / ID need to be provided to use the e-voucher?

I don't have FB points but would be willing to exchange cash for a pair of vouchers if it were possible.

The voucher I received is made out to me, has my flybuys number on it and says it can't be transfered, exchanged, sold or bartered. So the official answer is 'no'.

Whether they actually check IDs at the door I don't know and won't know until I use the thing which may not be for a few weeks so unfortunately I can't be of much help right now :-(

    • Thanks SteveOh, it might not be worth the risk in that case…

      • I ended up going yesterday. Used the voucher for myself and my wife and paid cash for my son (children's price.)

They did not ask to see my flybuys card or ID. All they asked for was my post code.

It's a fun outing but I don't think it would be worth paying full price LOL! And they're good at finding ways to get extra money. Junk food on every floor and custom photos of your family for $35. You don't have to buy the photos but they get in your face with them to try to tempt you. Oh well, can't really blame them for being clever business people and the cost of running the place probably is high.
