    I bought this Tv a couple of months ago. Very happy with it. I bought it for $800 so at this price its a bargain, for a dual core, 100hz, 3D Smart tv.

    FYI: Bing Lee has the UA40F6400 for $685 which is basically the same TV.

    Picture in Picture - does it mean dual tuner so can watch one tv channel while recording another channel?

      unless it specifically states 'dual tuner' then no, probably means PIP with 2nd picture line in i.e security camera, dvd/blu ray player, xbox etc

    Anything special required in the way of HDD spec for tv recording?
    (Recently bought a Panasonic and it seems to require a HDD that's been blessed by… someone other than me)

      Not that I have found. I've used a 32GB usb drive and a seagate portable HDD drive and both worked fine. I had to format the seagate via the TV and you need to use the powered USB hub for it but apart from that it all worked as you would expect.

    Great TV, I'm using mine in my bedroom and its great. Fantastic price as well, I paid about $900 a few months back as well. Bonus is it can stream tv shows etc via PLEX and is very wife/kid friendly to use.

    I have the 50" F6400 and it is a very good TV, this model I believe is a later model of the Series 6 TV and I would assume it would even be better. At this price, it is a very good buy.
