1kg Zimbabwe Peaberry Coffee and 75gm sample Ugandan Kisoro $24.95 FREE Shipping

80

Back with our first deal for the New Year (following some extreme weather and electricity induced issues!) we've got our beautiful Zimbabwe Peaberry bundled with a nice 75gm sample of our Ugandan Kisoro bean. Both beans are delicious, with the Zim having slightly more acidity and brightness while the Ugandan has a great malty body to it. Both go well with our without milk and are versatile for pretty much any method of brewing you choose. Extra tasting notes are on the link if you need and all orders also include Australia wide shipping.

Your site was down earlier in the week (ended up ordering elsewhere)… Good to see you're back up an running.

  • Can any Ozbargainers reccommend these beans?

I've had the Peaberry a few times, arrived quickly and tasted fresh each time. They're quite a dry bean from memory.

Safari Roast have had a lot of deals over the past 3 months or so and I don't think there have been any complaints.

    • Yes, we quite like them but I preferred the deal with 2x different 500gm beans. However the solution below sounds like a way to go. I shall have to consult with my fellow coffee aficionado. What's the recommended storage method? Deep freeze?

      • It's not recommended to freeze.
Just dry location at room temp with the bag sealed..
Only buy 2-3 weeks supply, then re-order when you're getting low.

No worries at all stumo :)

So if you would like these in 2x250 and 500g bag i just add 2 more bags?

    • Yes, if you put through an order for coffee bags via the buy coffee bags page with your beans order, we can just divide it amongst the bags youve bought :)

Oh that's a great idea, will be sure to do that next time.

    So what's the next deal? :) I'm running low….

    • +1

      one coming very soon ;)

  • Hi rep, just sent you an email as my order hasn't arrived yet.

    • I'm also awaiting mine - ordered 8 days ago. Email sent yesterday. Did you get a response Stix?

      • Nope…rep has gone AWOL.

        • All ok - mine arrived.

          Thanks again rep!

  • I missed the "couriers please" delivery a few days after ordering. I immediately requested a re-delivery using their website via the instructions on the card. That was last Thursday. So my beans have been sitting in a hot/cold van all week, and counting.

    • Grrrrrr. the driver wrote the last didgit wrong on the redelivery slip tracking number. And it turns out these couriers please dbags dont cross-reference your name and address with the tracking number, despite forcing you to tediously enter all those details on their web form.

So my coffee has been in limbo driving around in a van for well over a week now. Yum.

  • I put in an order and paid the same day 24 Jan (Order: #1063), still waiting for my coffee :-(

    Not very good at all….

  • Should I lodge a paypal dispute due to the fact that I have not received my coffee? I checked my box today and no coffee. Ordered the coffee almost a month ago.

Safari Roast does not seem to check the forums. I will wait until 20 feb, if no coffee then I have to lodge a paypal dispute.

  • That's it. No response at all from safari roast, I will initiate a paypal dispute due to the fact that I have paid for the coffee but not received any coffee. I checked my box today and no coffee.
