different promo , this one you get a FEE FREE Transaction and a $15 Amazon Gift card

I only posted this because Ozforex aren't giving ozbargain any financial incentive so we might as well all benefit from a bonus $15 Amazon Gift card .. right?

    • The first deal states fee free transfers, whereas this one is for the first transfer only. I guess which is the better deal depends on how often you intend to use their service.

After discussing with another mod, we think this is ok to be in its own deal since it's a different promotion.

i don't get it, why is this okay when it's centered around the referral links.

while things like GMG referrals is frowned on?

        • OP hasn't actually included a referral link in the deal URL or the deal description.

while things like GMG referrals is frowned on?

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean, we still have GMG deals with referrals?

        • in order to get the Gift card, you would need to use the referral link….

that's the only difference between this deal and the deal before, otherwise its exactly the same deal.

for GMG, you advertise the deal (which you can get without referral anyway)

      • yes the other deal says transfers but is it actually unlimited transfers? does ozforex confirm that anywhere after registering?

        • I'll query that in the other deal.

Edit: You've beat me to it.

This is with a referral link to get the card… i don't think you are supposed to post referral link deals in the first place.

Ever wonder why you bother sometimes EC?

I wish there was a bonus for existing customer's. I've been using them for 5 years and exchanged a lot of coin

    • then you didn't exchange enough coin in each transaction then.

i've been using them since they started, never paid the fee.

i'm guessing, they are trying to attract lower value transactions probably because there's a couple of other sites doing the same sort of thing now.

  • How safe are they?

how do i compare the experience vs traditional banks…. for lack of a better word, i would say "refreshing".

  • They just milk you on the exchange rate….

    • don't comment if you don't know what you are talking about, just sayin'.

which business don't want to earn profit?
