Just found this deal when i tried to buy ticket online..
40% off full price adult and child admission for you and your group*
10% off purchases on products (not food or beverage)

To receive the ticketing discount (40%), a guest must purchase a ticket at the Taronga Zoo Admissions Office (ticket desk) and present evidence that they have received the offer email from Taronga OR are a ‘fan’ of Taronga Zoo’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/tarongazoo). To receive the retail discount (10%) the same evidence must be presented at the Taronga Zoo Shops at each time of purchase.

Accepted evidence is:

Via Facebook on their mobile phone or other digital device
* Providing a printed screen grab of Facebook clearly showing that they are a fan
* You can also access the offers by presenting a print out of the Taronga Zoo email promoting the Long Weekend 40% off ticket offer, if you received this email.

One Facebook fan ‘Like’ or print-out per transaction is required. Offer is only valid at Taronga Zoo, Mosman, NSW. Not valid for online ticket purchases. Not valid with any other promotional Zoo offer including, but not limited to, other concession or discounted tickets/vouchers, Zoo Friend passes or transferable guest passes, pre-paid tickets, family tickets, free or complimentary tickets/passes, and all combined transport passes including but not limited to ZooPass and Ferry passes. Not valid for teachers/adults accompanying school visits, or function, event or pre-arranged group/tourist bookings. Not redeemable or transferable for cash. Offer is only valid 25-27 January 2014 inclusive.

      You don't need to have an Opal card for this.
      The standard offer is a ticket for $2.50 per person on Sundays when adults are travelling with kids.
