I wish that rays or masters would sell the Q320 which has the larger lid n temp gauge. It also looks like they are updating the whole range. instead of being a Q320, it will be a Q3200 (xtra 0 at the end of each model #).

I checked the price of how much the Q3200 goes for in America… $399USD (http://www.amazon.com/Weber-57060001-Q3200-Liquid-Propane/dp…). Talk about getting ripped off here in Aus!!

    • The high lid and temperature gauge versions are only sold by specialist dealers. The discounted box-moving retailers get the less fancy lid.

      • It just shits me now only specialist dealers can sell the Q320 models where as in America all retailers can sell them. FFS its only $10AUS rrp more then the Q305!

    • i wouldnt buy this without temp gauge. i use it all the time when i roast, know its pre-heaped, pizza etc. i bought the old version before they updated the model numbers.

    • It's a shame we never see the specialist models on discount at all. I think partly due to many of buyers here happy to pay much higher prices compared to the Americans :(

      • i bought the q300 from DJs about 3 yrs ago, back then the difference between specialist and not was the automatic ignition. Djs has 15% at the time off so got it for around 700 with a cover.

      • actually some do discount or include bonus accessories

or alternatively import via https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/shipporter.com :)

Really when you consider what they are, these are ridiculously expensive.

  • Are Webbers hype beast inflated?
Or are they legitimately the shiznit?

    • The way they cook is awesome vs a normal BBQ, it just seems easy to get good results every time. Not sure if there's a cheaper option which does the same thing but the method itself is the shiznit.

    • I was hesitant to spend $600 on the weber coming from a bunnings 4 burner, glad i did, i use it 3-4 times a week. one bottle has now lasted nearly 3months. living in cairns i'm trying not to use the oven inside and only using the bbq outside. everytime i use it i say to the mrs "that's the best bbq ever!"

  • im using a q220

weber gas bbqs are definitely worth it

    grilling about once-twice a week
