Will fly there just for this. Thanks.

Get cheap Jetstar flight + $100 off AirBnB stay + this = Ozbargain getaway.

It might not work on the flight into Adelaide. I believe the T&Cs for any Jetstar flight is that you must have already consumed $50 worth of beer before flying.

  • Just need some tiger 1$ sale fares now :D

  • perfect opportunity to ask for weird drinks you might not be comfortable asking for at your usually haunt…

"Barman! I'll have one of your finest c**k s*****g cowboys!"

      • Applies to tap beer, base spirits & soft drinks only.

Still good chance to try a glass of 24yr single malt whiskey and coke.

You're doing it wrong if you're mixing coke with 24 yr old single malt….

IWell it looks like its Churros and beer on Thursday for me,!!!

  • This credit looks to me like it's for drinks only (ie not the meals), am I reading it right?

  • woo hoo this is near my work :)

  • I guess there is a catch:

Valid for soft drink, base spirits and tap beer only. Rectifiable on the day of your birth only, strictly 18+, please drink responsibly.

  • They've been doing this for a few years now, no surprises. The meals are great too.

Given my next birthday will be on 29th February 2016, any chance of getting a $150 rain check to use then?

Guys I think this has potential as a daily OzBargain meetup:

We have around 90,000 members (plus lurkers) here, so every day should be the birthday of around 250 of these people. That's a distributed bar tab of $12,500!

  • Man…was super excited when I glanced at this post as Brisbane also has an Edinburgh Castle Hotel…and its walking distance from my house. Anyway I have pretty much 12 months until my birthday so I guess I can wait for a Tiger/Jetstar sale to make it worthwhile!

On the contrary, I'd love to 'knock back' free grog ;-)

Please don't ruin this for the regular members, benefits like this tend to be short lived once exposed (abused) here.

What would you like me to do? Retract the post? By being a member of this site, you too are looking for bargain that may expose deals and ruin it for others, aren't you?

    • +2

I highly doubt that the intention of the promotion was to reward regular patrons. This is a way for them to attract new clientele and they most likely won't be losing money unless there are lots of loners drinking by themselves on their birthday.

  • +4

I can imagine a true OzBargain'er party there:

"Ok everyone, we've just hit the $50 limit. Party is now concluded, thanks for coming!"

  • I'd get in there before they get their heads around the commercials

  • Imagine a family of octuplets walking into that place on their birthday…

    • +1

      Just imagined drunk identical octuplets…

  • OZB meetups every day? :P

  • Found this http://www.noveltyid.com.au/order.html, everyone could have their birthday on the same day! Yay :D

  • Awesome, it's my birthday on Friday
