      About 450,000 chickens were destroyed

So if you get your whole chicken extra crispy and in bits a pieces, you know where it came from.

Ahhhhh, is that why KFC have brought back the 9 pieces for $9?
        ;)

  • Hmm some tough decisions here.

Getting there are 9am on a Friday would be a bugger with traffic but would mean I am less likely to miss out on a chicken.

    • I faced the same dilemma when I went on Monday - I decided to go in the morning and although it wasn't packed, there were a lot of people coming & going.

  • $1.99 for a chicken … great … can get the kids some cheap pets at that price. And they are whole. Would be less fun playing with half a chook

  • Not expensive at all, it is cheep cheep

    • chooks don't cheep but these chooks are cheap

      • thanks Dr Seuss

  • I wonder why the darling downs 80 day grain fed didn't meet the MSA grade?

    • Did it say it failed or did they just not pay the fee to get it tested.

      • dunno, but to go to the expense of 80 days in the feed lot and then cheap out by not getting msa certification seems a bit odd.

    Just ate one. bwaarrrrkkk.

    • +1 for the unexpected Onomatopoeia

  • Turns out the 9.99kg 80 day grain fed rump is for whole rumps only, with no mention of it in the catalogue.

I feel so bait n switched.

I walked out in disgust never to return.

    super butchers scammers.
