    Where's the backpack? I can't see it

Any chance your eBay store can be updated with this price?

    • Give them a chance. eBay takes 8-9% of the selling price, depending on category so this would become even less profitable for him to sell it through eBay.

Maybe he will still do it but given that eBay has done absolutely nothing to bring the customers to him, don't make him pay the fee :-)

Not telling you what to do, just giving you something to consider :-)

Any reason why your website can't spell Clearance???

    • +4

I'd suggest a plague of velociraptors is the likely cause. Of course, I'm just guessing.

      • Don't be patently ludicrous.

A Sharknado is a far more plausible explanation.

    • Or machete, for that matter.

Sorry, Type error. Will amend it. :) Thx

Meh a spelling mistake on a small, local business website

  • Hmm hunting says 26, however only 8 items shown, assume that's because the 8 items are in multiple categories…. Assume pickup is ok?

    • You have to click into individual sub-categories, for some reason they're not all shown when you click into the top-level one.

    • Hi,

Yes, pickup is available. Same price.

Address is 3/26-28 Christensen Street, Cheltenham, VIC, 3192.

      :)

  • Is there a pouch to hold a laptop on the inside? Doesn't have to be a separate compartment but just a pouch to secure it and stop it flopping around inside the main compartment.

    • +1

There is no laptop pouch inside for this backpack. But you can take a look at our another style from website, it maybe a little bit expensive :)

      • Thanks for getting back to me on that one :-)

  • Thought this was a good deal until I checked out Ebay. If your willing to wait, you can purchase one from Hong Kong for $24.53 with free postage

    • -4

Does this kind of thing need to be said every time? You can almost always get anything cheaper if you are willing to wait for it from China.

Compare apples to apples. Find a cheaper price locally, if you can't, it's so a good deal. Jeez.

This is Ozbargain, Isn't this website about saving money? Everyone has their own opinion.

If you want to buy it then by all means go buy it, I'm just trying to help people save a few bucks if they are willing to wait.

I guess if you need the item within the week, sure pay the extra $12 postage or pick it up from Victoria "Would be cheaper than eBay because of free pick up".

At the end of the day, its YOUR money.

        • -2

Yes its about saving money but do you think you are the only one who knows how to look at eBay? Is not rocket science.

So instead of ragging on someone's deal, which is pretty good for a locally shipped product ($8 difference Inc shipping), how about you just don't put in your two cents.

People mistake the right to their own opinion with that opinion being valuable and worthwhile.

It's this kind of post that is seeing local traders do less and less OzBargain specials, i.e. ones they made with OzBargain in mind. Every time, some bright spark will pipe up about how they can find it cheaper on ebay from China. So, the local deals apart much much less than they did a year ago.

This is cconjecture based on my own experience of course but while you can sell a lot of items when you post a special here, often the headache is more than any profit is worth.

So, before you post your precious opinion, think first. Is the seller trying to rip off their customers? Or is the cost difference between the local and the international source reasonable, given that Australia Post shipping fees are quite expensive.

Sometimes the international price comparisons are valuable but if all you have done is so a five seconds search on ebay, then you can be fairly sure that what you have done is exactly what 95% of the other users here have done, so rather than it being valuable, all you are doing is adding to the constant discouragement of local traders trying to run an honest business and offer an honest deal.

However, if discouraging local traders was what you were trying to do, then carry on.

        • +1

No one likes me saying these things because OzBargain users have moved the site away from just being a place to share bargains and has moved towards the development of an attitude of entitlement to these good deals and harassment and haranguing of those who don't offer everything cheaper than it can be ordered anywhere in the world, ever.

Keep on doing what you are doing folks, you'll scare away more and more local sellers.

Then what will you post about? If the only good deals are coming in from China, who are you going to eBay and then say that they are more expensive than then?

    • +1

Welcome to pick up, only $20 here, free postage :) Thanks.

      • Are you saying free postage now? Or making a joke?

        • No, he was saying that if you pick it up it's "free postage" because you are picking up. Tongue in cheek I'd imagine.

To be clear, I think he's just saying pickup is free and then you can have the backpack for $20.

Now some one can stalk in style.

  • picked one up today, man the warehouse is just that a warehouse - no signage or anything - wasn't sure if I was in the right place at first… bag seems decent enough, the 50 litre bag, which is bigger and has attachments seemed much heavier so I just stuck with the 20 dollar bag, figure its not too much to waste even if it dies…

wasn't offered a receipt - not that I really needed one. seems to be a one man import band… I'd imagine these would be simular to the ones (if not the same) as the others on ebay…

here is the link to the ebay store which is probably a little easier to read at the moment.

    • Thanks for your comment. Sorry about the receipt. Could you pls give us your email address? We can send you the soft copy instead :)

      • nah I don't need, nor want one :D

I think the only thing I really noticed is a couple of smaller zipped pockets would have been cool… but its a great bag for the money so far…
