Yeah this is just them reducing their price, which they can do as they like. It doesn't require a docket or any purchase from Coles. They are just finding different ways to do it now, with supermarket docket vouchers no longer allowed, they also have a deal this month at all stores, 10c/litre of fuel if you spend $20 or more on groceries inside the actual Coles Express (not Coles).
I might drive to Mildura, from Brisbane, to get this.

I think what you should do if you turn up to a big queue is to shout out "I better go back and check out that OzBargain deal for 80c". Might clear a few cars.

The queues are going to be massive. I know a guy who used to leave half an hour early from work on a cheap fuel day to pump up. The waits were that long. He saves a few dollars, but gives up half an hour of his pay, at $35 an hour…
Very clever.
As a contractor, you stop equating time at work with money (to an extent). Otherwise you would never take a day off, run an errand during work hours etc. Besides half an hour in a queue relaxing in the car and mentally switched off might be worth the 17 bucks.

I'd say this is due to them closing their old location right on the main highway and opening up a new one in a side street 2 blocks from the main road.

Went there about half an hour ago, couldn't get within a block of the servo, all streets at a standstill. But that could have been the roadworks nearby
