I bought a lot of stuff on special today - they just took $40 off the total. Guess each store and staff maybe enforce the terms and conditions differently.
I saw a (super-rude) family going nuts and buying everything their kids could lay their hands on - the salesperson at the store said they could buy sale items too. So I guess it depends on the store.
Well I was merely pointing out the details on the link that the OP had shared, & considering the fact that the OP also said that there were no exceptions on sale items straight off instead of pointing out in the post that "oh hey, the terms say this, but I experienced this, so see what happens for you"

I had already read the TnCs on the ad/pic posted, as I'm a Riot Club member & had been sent this offer directly via email.
That's why I commented about the OP saying that there seemed to be no exceptions on sale items.

I think that's an exception….
