WOW, those HDD's sold out fast!

    • Its back instock ^_^

  • Yeah I probably would have jumped at the hard drive with free or discounted shipping too!

All HDD should be coming down in price as the Aussie dollar is up over 80 cents.
This is an 8MB cache drive … you can pickup the current 32MB model for around $10 more
Still a good deal, but most probably worth getting the WD10EADS instead.

  • wow, 2 hot deals
    1: 1TB only $111.11
    2: Office H&S $129.99+free shipping
    It is unbeatable!

The office deal is questionable ….
I'm still puzzled as to why Microsoft sells this package when a better one can be purchased directly through Microsoft

Office 2007 Ultimate is $75 (for Students)

    • That Micrsoft Ultimate is pretty good deal! But thats only for Students & Teachers. The one we selling anyone can buy =)

"You must have a valid email address at one of the educational institutions listed here.

      AND

You must be a student enrolled at or be a staff member actively employed by one of these qualified institutions in Australia."

    • Pretty sure that gives you just the one license (although when it first came out someone did say the EULA did state you could use 1 desktop and laptop)

The Ultimate Office teacher/student deal for $75 + $15 per language pack gives one a license for two installs - 1 each for desktop and notebook/netbook.

The retail Office 2007 Home and Student 2007 gives one 3 installs.

As mentioned above, anyone looking to buy the HDD would be better off looking for the 32MB cache model as opposed to this. For a little bit extra it's well worth the difference

probably good one for external enclosure.
I just got a 1TB seagate a week ago so I do not need more at the moment.
    voted positive.

  • Very nice, sadly what I was looking for was the one with case. Soon enough those things will be < $100 =)

  • Just got it Friday from OfficeWorks for $123.50 and then applied on-line at MicroSoft for the $25 Cash Back (by cheque).

You also get the chance to win $2,000 - but I missed out - all losers still get the $25.

  • How does it know u are using it on 3 machines? What happens if u reinstall it?

    • Re-install OR install on a 4th PC?

If on a 4th PC - it says that the max number of installs registrations has been exceeded.

You can call Microsoft and talk to them. Eg If you are installing for a 4th time because the Hard Disk died on one PC and you are installing again on the same PC with a new/.different Hard Disk.

  • Sweet deal on the 1TB WD
