Can u choose the colour? Or they would just give random samples..
This is the first time they have given away their (premium house brand) Velspar. They usually do this deal at the start of spring with their normal sample pots. They will tint them for you, but only to a colour from their colour chart range for that paint, i.e. no colour matching to other ranges like Dulux etc. Having said that, I and others have had success getting them to match a colour outside the range, but I don't think they are supposed to.
in October 2013 they were giving away Pascol samples and they mixed 3 Dulux and 1 wattyl color range for me without any questions.
This promo is not on the NSW catalogue. If anyone has been able to claim the free sample in NSW, please let us know.

Thanks Earth, picked one up this morning for some touch up work. No purchase or personal info needed. Can choose any colour you like, they were able to match Dulux color for me even through they don't stock the paint. Great deal.

It's valid for today to the end of Sunday. My store had lots of stock. The real bargain with these ones is that they have the color bases.. Red blue yellow etc.. Free as well. Really good freebie!!

If you really want cheap paint, go to a pro place (not bunnings/masters) and pick up mistints etc for around $5/l .
spot on, I need to repaint the toilet ;) if it is good I might buy 15Lt bucket (which is only $199) to paint other rooms
I got one of these yesturday, i didn't know the deal was on just noticed it when i went in to buy some paint. so grabbed a pot, the wife already used the pot on a wall she didn't mind it.
Went in with a friend, The guy at the counter tried to play it off as one sample per group. Took some convincing that my friend lived elsewhere (truth) and then took some ten mins to get the shade mixed.
Not bad though.
I had a look through yesterdays herald sun and could not find the ad.
I spoke to Masters online rep and they said they have it.
This deal expires today.

You don't need to bring any ad. Please visit your local Masters and just request for it ( you can see a big free pot offer sign in the paint department anyway)
