The key MUST be activated on eu.battle.net but after that it will be playable on all servers.

    Hey just bought SC2 from the link provided. Upon activation it says it's the Starter Edition 365 days. Does that mean I only get access to the first 5 missions? Additionally, will the game expire within 365 days?

      That's what happens when the key is activated from per say us.battle.net. You didn't activate from the EU link provided?

        The link provided was 404 not found.
        I searched for the eu.battle.net website, logged in and put in the code and it came up with the starter edition etc.

          Oh looked through my chrome history and it turns out I did actually activate it from the US. My mistake, thanks for the help!

          You should still be able to activate again from the EU link for the full game . Could you please try that?

          Sure. So I clicked the link, entered the code again, and it gives me the option to upgrade to the Standard Edition. However, upon clicking continue, I get an error message on the next screen. Any way to fix this?

          Edit: Nevermind, guess it registered the Standard Edition. Thanks for all the help through this :)!!

    US $19.30 is a good price but I expected lower since this game is old. And there are so many other great games for a fraction of the price. I rarely pay more than $10 for any game.

    Poor price for a 3.5 year old game, but its not the rep's fault blizzard are high on their own farts.

    Its been lower but this is a decent price considering blizzard's approach to price devaluation/digital distribution.

      Yeah i know. I bought SC2 Wings of Liberty boxed retail for $1.87 from Dick Smith on clearance about mid last year. Hadn't even touched it yet just been sitting in a cupboard. This is true. Come to think of it now that was a true bargain. Blizzard's digital distribution prices are a ripoff.

          No it's true no typo SC2 Wings of Liberty was going for $1.87 in clearance bins from Dick Smith last June and July last year. I got it from one of the clearance bins in July 2013. It had $2 marked on the retail box but scanned for $1.87 at the counter. You had to be very lucky to find a copy.

          "Latest purchase - PC Game of Starcraft II Wings of Liberty - $1.87 (missing box).
          You never know what you might find in the Clearance Bin!"

          This wasn't me though some body else reported it. I got the retail box and every thing with mine.
