SSCRP3M is 36kg vs 25kg. I wonder what the differences are.

STRK3SW is the model of the Amp and SSCRP3M is the model of the speaker kit. The entire kit is called HTM3 but I do not know why DSE has the listed two different items.

Please, fellow OzBargainers, save your money and use it to get a cheap Yamaha or Pioneer Receiver when they next appear here then throw a small pack of cheap surround speakers with it and you'll have a much nicer system that will sound better, last longer and be a lot more versatile.
There's a reason these are all over Gumtree and the fact that Dick Smith is clearing them out is also a good indicator. I beg you to stay away.

Yeah nice. Still not the best distortion specs however at least the rated power output levels are a little more realistic :) Also a nicer size & style system for the masses too… well, in my opinion anyway.
Mine's lasted 8 years, has taken a flogging.
Yeah music isn't the best sound a system can produce but as a HT system (tv/ movie/ music/ radio) you can do a LOT worse for the price!
Just letting people know that this isn't the later HTM3 model, which has red lights on the receiver. This is the previous model called the STR-K3SW (also known as HTDDW K3) and which has blue lights on the receiver. There isn't much difference between them them though, just a couple extra features on the receiver on the newer HTM3 model.
