How does this unit compare with the Sony bluetooth speaker model (the one with the integrated handle) that has previously been spruiked on OzB?

I have the previous model of this logitech (logitech mini boom box) that went on clearance a couple weeks ago for $29 or whatever is what and love it. But since they're the same price I would more than likely go for the Sony if I didn't want the portability of the Logitech.

The Divoom Bluetune Solo sounds better even at higher volumes. Plus you can daisy chain them or connect them to other speakers to make them Bluetooth capable. MSY sell them for $35

I want this. However I bough the kmart brand bluetooth speaker a few days ago? Anyone know if I can still return the kmart speaker? I have opened the box and I am using it. I still have the box and all the content though.

Wrong, k-mart have a pretty much no questions asked return policy, even if they do ask, follow the advice below.

The previous gen offers more functionality. You can manage the tracks(Pause/Skip Forward/Back).
These sound better than the older non UE version
Oh cheers! The older gen looks a lot classy too! I was under the impression the newer ones sound better and more "shock" proof with it's rubber housing. Trade off I guess.

I grabbed two of these the last time Logitechshop had them for $50, they have quickly elevated to my favourite device around the house. I can have music with me pretty much anywhere, shower, hanging out the washing, cooking the bbq, while walking/riding, they power on instantly, are tough as nails (I've dropped mine a few times), quickly and automatically connect to my phone and pump out decent sound, it's not audiophile quality but those pricks are never happy unless they're spending $1000/m on cables. Highly recommended.
I got the old version in white for $2 from TGG last time so I'm gonna have to give this miss.
