Hi Ozbargain,

My name is Jess and I'm an AMTA Registered Music Therapist.

I have recently relocated my practice to Brisbane Northside and will be offering free assessment sessions for the next month.

I specialise working with special needs children and specifically kids with autism spectrum disorder.

An assessment session lasts about one hour and involves me assessing the child for areas in which music therapy may be able to provide some benefit.

I have a Bachelor of Music Studies from University of Adelaide majoring in classical piano and a Masters of Music Therapy from University of QLD.

I am very passionate about my work and love what I do!

Do you have / require a Working with Children Check / Blue Card / Yellow Card?

Nice deal Jess and a very interesting career. Being a Music Therapist do you find yourself subconsciously pulling apart all the music you hear and analysing it or can you switch that off and just enjoy it all for what it is?
