PC Component, Peripheral & Gadget Clearance (70c CAT6 Cables, 75c iPhone Cables, $8.50 Laptop Coolers, $10 SteelSeries Mice)

190

Hi Guys,

It's time to clear out some left overs and make room for all new new gadgets on the way.

98 items heavily reduced to clear, starting at only 20 cents. Some with more stock than others so jump in quick before the good stuck all gets snapped up.

We will be enforcing per customer limits at our discretion if we feel someone is attempting to buy an excessive amount of a single item for resale. We are generally not opposed to this 'entrepreneurial' behavior at all, but we would like give more people a chance should any one item prove popular.

The full list is available on our website, some of the highlights include 70c CAT6 cables, 75c iPhone cables,
$8.50 laptop coolers, $10 SteelSeries mice, $2.50 cherry mouse, $2.50 case fans and $5 A4-Tech keyboards.

All Soeyi cases are heavily discounted + 4 different Elite series Cooler Master cases with PSUs.

First come, first served. Some items only available in store, these are marked with **.
We recommend not using Bank Wire to pay as its likely the stock will be sold out before payment clears.
If you order online select to pay in store stock will be held for 24 hours only.

PayPal(2.4%) & Credit Card(2%)(3D Secure via Commonwealth Bank) available as payment methods online.
Cash, eftpos and credit accepted in store ($10 minimum on EFTPOS / credit)

Of course paying to ship a 75c cable across the country is not very economical but unfortunately it isn't for us either. But snap up a few different things at once an all of sudden shipping might be worth it, and for those who are local to Clayton South and want $1 cable or cpu cooler, your more than welcome to drop by and grab one.

All stock brand new unless otherwise specified. No back orders, store open 9:30AM to 6:30PM Monday to Friday.
Questions welcome via email to [email protected]

  • Any chances of a Cherry Mech keyboard special? still eyeing off a cheap Cherry MX Blue keyboard

    • The Cherry MX Board 2.0 Blue Switch for $57 is still available. Would love to make it cheaper but it's already as low as we could possibly price it. If you can find the same keyboard selling cheaper (in stock) in Australia we would love to know about it!

      • Its the shipping that pushes me away….your pricing is the best I can find, but at the same time the reports of the G80-3800 being lightly built means I am tempted to try to catch something else on sale.

        http://www.mwave.com.au/product/tesoro-durandal-g1n-mechanic…

if the above was a Cherry MX blue I would seriously consider it as I can pick it up locally and avoid shippping, (the kit is cheaper than the G1N by itself), and know I will get something fairly solid. As I have mentioned before this is a secondary keyboard (either for the partner or the office) as I use a Gigabyte AVIA Osmium (MX RED) at home for gaming.

  • Seems like site problems.. probably been ozbargained.

Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (111)

    • Yep :( this is a first for us. Out site typically handles a load like this without any issues. Must be the massive amount of people using the site search all at once.

  • server is down?

  • Ozbargained already!

  • Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (111)

  • Any DB servers on clearance? ;)

Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (111)

EDIT: Damn, beaten to the joke.

  • Site completely down now :(

  • It's not down. Which ones in the list are the real deals?

    • It's up and down periodically, there's probably a lot of people hitting the refresh button that doesn't really help at all. Working on a fix!

      Cat 6 cables seem reasonable:

      CAT6 UTP 1 Meter Blue $0.70
      CAT6 UTP 2 Meter Blue $1
      CAT6 UTP 5 Meter Blue $1.50
      CAT6 UTP 10 Meter Blue $2.50
      CAT6 UTP 15 Meter White $4
      CAT6 UTP 30 Meter Blue $6.50

There don't seem to be any links to them nor are they marked with stars (per your description)? So those are in store deals?

      • links added.

they are available in store and to ship.

  • Paypal and CC surcharge might be worth mentioning in description.

    • added!

  • Great deals if you're a local but shipping kind of kills it for those who aren't. Shipping is more expensive that the actual laptop cooler for those in Sydney :(

  • Really keen on the iphone cables, possible to ship them?

    • The iPhone 4 / 4s cables we have no problem shipping. The lightning cables on the other hand we prefer to let the customer try before they buy. They are not 'genuine' apple authorized accessories and on some phones they will pop up a warning message when you plug them in.

      • Ah yeah I was after the lightning cable for my ipod.

  • Hi Rep,

How long does it normally take for delivery.

I am in the western suburb of Melbourne.

    Thanks.

    • Should be next business day via courier,
Possibly 2 business days with Australia Post

      • Thank you very much Rep.

I put an order in for a few items. Email says preparation in progress.

Via courier, hopefully it will be home by Monday.

Shipping hurt me too :( How come there isn't a cheaper option than courier?

    • Which items to which post code?

      • Product Unit price Quantity Total price
        Cooler Master M310 Black 15.6" Notebook Cooler $8.50 1 $8.50
        1 Meter Blue CAT6 UTP Network Cable $0.70 7 $4.90
        2 Meter Blue CAT6 UTP Network Cable $1.00 3 $3.00
        5 Meter Blue CAT6 UTP Network Cable $1.50 2 $3.00
        15 Meter White CAT6 UTP Network Cable $4.00 1 $4.00
        30 Meter White CAT6 UTP Network Cable $6.50 1 $6.50
Shipping was $14.90 to 2208 - is that expensive or am I being too tight based on what I'm buying? If you can do anything with shipping I'd appreciate it very much - want my order ID?

        • Sorry XeSSiV,

It might seem excessive due to the dollar value of the order but with a notebook cooler and all those cables, it is actually a quiet bulky and heavy parcel. There isn't any other way we could ship it for any less.

        • Okay no worries, thanks for your response :)

        • Thats pretty cheap mate!

You got about 60m of cable there… pretty heavy to ship.

Shipping is hurting a lot. I had almost $30 worth of cables and components. The Shipping can up as $35 to Perth. Making the it a No DEAL for the WA

  • Too late on the 1m cat6 cables. Bummer. Sold out.

    • 120 units, all gone. 2M & 5M are selling quick too!

    • It still says available and I am able to add it to my cart.

      • Ah, it seems one of those orders was canceled or a change requested. Looks like we have 3 left as I type this.

Shipping kills the deal. Why surcharge the safest and most convenient payment methods for Ozbargainers. IMHO surcharging should be build into the price because these methods are so popular. You'll probably bring up that you don't want to punish consumers who choose methods which don't cost you more, but you are really pushing away customers who could become regulars purchasing at full prices. Its good too invest in expanding your customer base if you arnt too well known. *my opinion.

    • It's because it costs them money to use the payment methods. These guys have a bricks and mortar store. If you don't like the surcharges, then go buy them in-store, otherwise that's the cost of being able to shop from your couch.

Did u even read what I wrote. I know it costs them money. I run my own small eBay store. Most others stores even hardley normal don't surcharge cause it pushes away potential customers in the first place. I know they can afford this easily because of their scale but its a valid point in terms of obtaining a larger long term customer base especially with these sort of online sales which they have put the effort into promoting on ozbargain.

        • Why do I get downvoted when the person who replied to me couldn't comprehend my first post and responded with the exact point I knew would be raised thus I took it upon myself to explain in the first part to avoid confusion. Gosh I'm sounding autistic but people these days :(.

Basically he's saying that incorporating costs incurred through payment methods like CC or Paypal into the overall product cost in damaging to the bulk group of customers, i.e. the people who walk through the front door and pay cash. Just because you dislike transparency and hide your extra charges when selling through Ebay, doesn't mean others should follow suit.

Plus you have just given the primary reason I never bother with Ebay, the hidden charges Seller's include means their products are always more expensive than I will find else where. I don't recall a single time where making a purchase from an Australian Ebay Seller would have been cheaper than going to someone. Most people see Ebay as a "Red Light" district I think, one only goes there for the black/grey market goods …. and go armed.

I too read what you said and came to exactly the same conclusion as Spectator; if you don't want to go in-store and pay cash, expect a surcharge. I understand this, and since every other store on-charges these financial institutional fees, I'm not about to walk away from a deal this good just because I want some more blood from a stone.

  • Hi Rep what colour case fans are there? hoping to see you tomorrow morning

    • They are all stock case fans. Black with no LEDs. Nothing fancy to look at but get the job done just as well as their shiny counterparts.

  • Thank you very much, got a full bag of bargain goodies!!! Good service, a pleasure to deal with. The lighting phone cables works perfectly(8 of them)!!!

    • Great to hear your happy with your purchase! Thanks for the feedback.

I see a lot of complaining about shipping prices. Honestly people, don't pretend you've never had to pay the astronomical prices to ship stuff around Australia, and don't assume that because the $13 worth of cables your purchasing work out as $14 in freight your getting ripped off. There are some excellent deals here for people who live locally, and very good deals for those who don't.

I believe in Ethical selling, buyers should follow the same rules.

    • +3

Exactly! The cable is so cheap people are forgetting how heavy 50m odd of cable actually is.

      I just ordered 1x 30m, 1x 15m, 1x 10, 1x 5m = $14.50 + $10.50 shipping = $25
For 60m of Cat6 cable @ $25 delivered to my door, cant go wrong.

StaticIce price for the cheapest 30m Cat6 cable is $13… plus shipping.

Too good an offer to pass up….thanks OP!

Specially in Canberra where the only decently priced Comp shop is MSY in Fyshwick.

        • yup!

I go to MSY when I have to (because really, there's no where else local), but otherwise I have to take advantage of online specials and plan ahead/stock up.

  • Edit: Already asked above it seems.

  • REP, can the USB3.0 Hub be used without the power supply?

  • If you're looking at the 7G $159 for the 7G and Kana mouse at mwave

EDIT: whoops was looking at "WAS" price for some reason, my bad. good deal OP

  • Hi Guys, quick update.

All orders placed up until 3:30pm this afternoon have been shipped or made available for pick up.

We have moved easily 500 units today alone and there's still a reasonable amount left! We will try and keep the price list updated to show whats sold out and what isn't, but this is a manual process so it might be a little behind. Clicking through to the product page via the link will show you if its still available or not.
