this phone is being discounted all over the place. something new coming out soon? any announcements?

    • Xperia Z2, Galaxy S4, and LG G Pro 2 was recently announced and HTC One(2014) being announce in less than 2 weeks could be part of the reason.

I probably would pay $20 more to get the Sony Xperia Z1

    • May I ask why?

      • Beautiful design but suck battery life and screen quality lol

        • and bigger body and smaller screen

    • +1

G2 is a much better phone. Why?

      • Better battery life
      • Better and bigger display
      • More comfortable in the hand
      • OIS camera
      • It is not a Sony. IMO Sony are still far behind the pack, yucky washed out screens, terrible UI…

Battery and superior screen are the main things for me. Killer phone.

      • But don't forget Z1 has Water&Dust resistant, and have a IP 58 certified

  • Allphones sell the 16GB Model mostly,so no deal :P

    • Why the neg, Allphones has the 16GB Model confirmed.
Also confirmed in last DSE thread

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/135595

Even for current JB Hi Fi model 32GB is just another $37 extra. Or wait for DSE to put it back at $507

  • 16 or 32GB??

    • The site's not very clear on whether it's 16 or 32gb, but from all appearances it seems to be be 16gb (clicking on specs it says 16/32gb, and it doesnt talk about storage anywhere else. If it was 32 they'd be advertising that fact more.)

  • please add in title 16GB

  • I bought my LG G2 32GIG white from David Jones Bourke Street, they price matched Dick Smith of $567. And i used the DJ GV to part pay for it from the Amex offer (spend $250 get 50 back) so technically it was $517. I asked for the bonus case, but they said they don't do bundles like disk smith does. When i get home, i found that the cover was packaged within the box labelled "special Gift". I bought mine on 12th March, and they had one left at the back, white colour as well. Good luck!

    • Thought Dick Smith ran DJ's electrical anyway so they'd be price matching themselves.

      • you're right. But their prices weren't updated to DS prices. So it was a leanient "price match"

  • I was quoted $510 as the best price from JB Holmesglen last nite
