I used to play this on an Amiga…

That game was a different beast entirely, and one of my best childhood memories. Although I think this comes with some/all of the originals.

Will your stalwart band choose to (F)ight or (R)un?

As did I, as a young kid. We really had no idea what we were doing. We just like killing kobolds and orcs… then night would come and our party would probably die… it took a long time for us to find out there was a place where we could level up.

I finished this on Android sometime last year.. with a walkthrough.. because really, those dungeons with traps everywhere are impossible to get through without a massive supply of grid paper and year spare for mapping. It takes long enough WITH the walkthrough really!

  • Showing as $2.99 in my amazon android app store…

How can I get the app for free if I have an Amazon.com account?
To make Amazon.com.au your default store for digital content, change your 1 click address and the address associated with your payment method to your Australian address. Go into 'Manage my Kindle' and check that the country settings show Australia. You do not need to create a new account and you can continue to shop for physical goods at Amazon.com. If you decide to change back, you can do so at any time.

      • I have Australia in the Country Settings. Free App of the Day of Amazon AppStore on my Android is Sand Slides.

        • Both 1 click address + the address associated with your payment method need to be AU ones.

Free App of the Day of Amazon AppStore on my Android is Sand Slides

          It's not for Amazon.com.au

Good to grab it through your PC with [1 Click]

        • Both 1 click address + the address associated with your payment method need to be AU ones.

All my details with Amazon are AU ones.
When I tried "get app" on my PC it did not allow me to do it.

Maybe it is because I am using a work PC that has a US IP address? I will try again tonight at home.

I am having the same problem.

My default address for country settings and 1-click are both Australia yet it says my country is not eligible? It's sand sliders on the app store as well.

          I'm with Fufufu. :-(

        • +1

I could only get it after "buying" it via desktop. On my phone Sand Slides was the free app.

        • Same here - was only able to purchase through the website after setting all my parameters to AU

        • I'm in the same situation as you (Australian 1-click, australian billing.. but giving me american store, treating me as american). This is ridiculous. Grumpy. This blows.

        • But the point is I can't buy from amazon website either:

          We are sorry

You are not eligible to purchase this app due to geographical restrictions.

it is now free in Appstore. I think it is because the time difference. People in OZ, who opened account at US Amazon years ago, have to wait until mid night USA time that is the start of 19/3.

        • +1

Now you can download it free through
          amazon.com
          http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008S3EJSU

        • Yep, it's free now. I wonder if it really is because of ddhytz's hypothesis?

  • I still dont understand why Amazon's App Store requires you to enable and install software from unknown sources.

Just asking for trouble in my opinion… giving way too much permissions.

    • +1

Because any sources, including Amazon, that are not Google Play, are "unknown sources".

      • And using that term means ANY sources… from anyone.

        That sounds promising!

        • +1

You still need to hit the install button, you realise ?

Google/Android at least gives you the option…..

  • Looks like a good game, been playing it for past 10 minutes. Cheers!

  • Bought this from Google Play store last year. Great Android game for all the RPG fans out there. The whole thing is just a crazy satire.

  • Seems like a pretty good deal to me
