Logitech UE Boom Bluetooth Speaker - $160 @ The Good Guys

150

Was just browsing The Good Guys website and noticed the Logitech UE Booms are available for $160. This is the cheapest I have seen them at a regular store except for when Dick Smith had buy two for $299. RRP is $199. Very good Bluetooth Speaker. Also available in other colours

Blue (and white): http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/buyonline/Logitech_Speaker_Blu…
Red (and white): http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/buyonline/Logitech_Speaker_Blu…

Here's one of many reviews of the unit out there:

It'll output stereo and "360 degree" sound on it's own, but you can also pair two together with the Logitech UE Boom app on iOS and Android to send left and right stereo channels to each speaker.

  • Oh wow! These are brilliant!
How long is this sale on for? I don't get back into australia for another 2 weeks..

  • Delivery?

    • Seems to be $9 estimate to a few postcodes I tried (Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Sydney)

  • Fantastic speaker, I have one (black and red) and it is simply amazing sound output for the size of it. Also has a very long battery life on a reasonable volume level.

Also water resistant coating on speaker mesh so can use it outside without being too paranoid. I used mine on a drilling site which meant it would be regularly covered in dust, splashed with water, and get coal smeared over it. Still going strong!

Highly recommend product from me, one of my favourite tech gadgets I have purchased…

  • This or would it be worth paying the extra for the Bose SoundLink Mini? Thoughts OzBers?

    • +1

I considered the SoundLink Mini too when I bought my Boom 6 months ago - it has better bass, but otherwise I preferred the portability, ruggedness and form factor of the UE Boom, as well as better Bluetooth capabilities (shows the battery level in the status bar on iOS devices).

    • Purchased just now. $158.20 was the cheapest they could do :DP

  • Does anybody know how the UE Boom compares with the Sony SRS-BTM8, which is today only $60.90 (incl. freight) at OnlyOnline: http://www.oo.com.au/Sony-SRS-BTM8-Wireless-Speaker_P226131.… ?

  • Just went and bought 2 for the stereo feature of these bad boys. Asked if he could do a better price for 2 than the $159 price, went with him to his computer, said he could do them for $145 each. Awesome guy.

    • Hi, can I have your invoice to match the price on my local tgg store? I also wanna buy two. thanks.

  • Got one for $155 today at jb
