Noticed this yesterday whilst walking through Jam Factory.
Free Roll'd between 11am & 8pm.
Conditions;
* One free B per person, a noodle salad bowl with your choice of protein
* No other food items available on the day
* Offer valid while stocks last
They do this whenever they open a new store - tried some when the Eastlands store opened, pretty good for free!
Niice, not as good as the places in Richmond/Footscray but won't turn down a free meal!
Try Richmond/Springvale/Footscray for cheap tasty genuine Vietnamese food instead of nasty overpriced westernised food.
The rice paper rolls are edible but the Pho and Vietnamese bread rolls are overpriced and not as good as Vietnamese bakeries
The bread rolls here are super overpriced :-(
Their bread rolls don't taste authentic because they don't put Soy Sauce.
Tried it once and not buying ever again.
On the topic of soy sauce…
Did you know some very shonky low-lifes in China (maybe other parts of Asia) use human hair (including pubic hair) to make soy sauce? traditionally, soy sauce is fermented from soy bean (which has skyrocketed in price over the past decade)…This may have stopped officially due to Govt crackdowns, but who knows…
Obviously, the brand name ones are ok…but in China, there are so many fake soy sauces…I just hope none ever arrive down under!!!

I don't buy Ritz, Oreo, Premium crackers, etc since they moved production to China (Check before you buy). Cutting costs inevitably leads to people pushing the boundaries when they can get away with it.
As for Roll'd, free is good because they are definitely overpriced (http://considerthesauce.net/2013/12/23/getting-rolld-at-high…). Salad in a roll doesn't cost much folks. I pay $4.50 for my pork rolls We've lost some marbles when we get excited about a "fast food" variety that costs twice as much as the original/authentic, eat-in restaurant version. Would be like McDonald's selling a steak for $40 in a food court ;-)
Oreos have been on my personal banned list ever since I noticed the switch to China. It was soon after the melamine milk crisis.

There are reasons I don't always buy cheapie stuff, one being sweatshops.
I used to work at Roll'd and they do use soy sauce for their fob rolls. Their rolls are just bad in general
