Just login to your live account on xbox and find the 'Golden Ticket' promo square, then download the 'Divergent Gamer Pic', watch the "Divergent Trailer' and apparently you will receive an email before the 8th April if you have tickets. First in best dressed.
Sorry, the email didn't specify, neither did the sign up process. I imagine it would be one of the big ones - Event, Dendy?
I had to log in and out of Xbox live a couple of times before I saw the 'Golden Ticket' tile - for me it was the top right one on the 'home' tab, but in the example one they showed, it was under 'Apps'
You don't need to log in and out to refresh the dashboard.
Press the Xbox button when you are at the Dashboard. Hold RT and press Y. That will refresh the Dashboard content and cycle through the promotions.

Is it supposed to give you some indication of success - at least for completing the steps?
I got absolutely no indication. But I've never known Microsoft to be anything close to 'user-friendly'.

Your mission: Find the Divergent Golden Ticket registration page when you login to Xbox LIVE on your console, and then follow the instructions.
Entry to the cinema is allocated on first-come, first-serve basis until cinema capacity is full. Entry not guaranteed, so arrive early to secure your seats. Invitation is not transferable.

My XBox eventually showed the "You have registered" panel for Divergent. Now I guess I have to wait for tickets, if they ever come.
Tickets straight up just never came.
Any extra details? Such as what cinemas? Tempted to take the girlfriend.
