Rays Outdoors 20% Promotion Terms and Conditions

The 20% off promotion is an invitation to treat, and valid until 23rd March 2014, unless sold out sooner. Promotion excludes camper trailers, Engel and Weber products, gift cards and delivery costs. No further discounts apply. Store stock only. % off discount will be applied at the checkout instore; online items will show the price inclusive of the % off discount. Images and packaging shown are indicative only. Colour, styles and sizes may vary. No rainchecks.

Purchases are limited to normal retail quantities (as determined by us). Whilst we have taken steps to minimise errors and/or ensure that the advertised products are available for sale, we reserve the right to withdraw any product from the promotion and/or sale if the product is not available due to a failure by supplier to deliver as anticipated by us, if there is an error in the advertised price or the product description, and/or due to any circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We may, at our sole discretion, substitute a similar product if any of the advertised products is not available.

Ray’s Rewards Members earn ‘20% credit on every purchase’ made from 21st March to 23rd March 2014, excluding camper trailers, Engel, Weber products, gift cards and delivery costs. Members must present their membership card instore at the time of purchase, or login to their online membership prior to entering the online checkout. Credits expire 90 days after they are allocated.

      I seem to recall having gotten a temporary card to use until mine arrived.

      You COULD always just buy online for instore pickup. You'd have gotten a membership number in an email when you signed up.

        Pretty sure when you checkout they will ask if your a member just say yes but you don't have your card and they can look it up on there system.

        you can register online and it will already be in the system. head into a store and ask them to look you up.

    How does this work?
    If I buy a $500 tent, discounted to $400 with the 20% off, do I then get 20% of $400 ($80) as credit towards any future purchases?

      That's correct. You'll get $80 credit to your card, which will need to be used within 3 months.

        Final question … can you then use the store credit to immediately buy something else on sale?
        eg. with my $80 store credit can I go and buy something worth $100 ($80 after 20% discount).

        The T&C's don't mention anything to say I can't do that, so I assume it is ok.

        It just seems a bit too good to be true.
        If I buy a $1250 fridge that is discounted to $1000 I can then go and buy a $200 tent (or something) for free. Actually a $240 tent before the 20% discount brings it down to $200. So original value $1250+$240 = $1490 worth of stuff for $1000.

          In theory I guess you could do it (have never tried) but I think from memory fridges are excluded.

          Not quite, apparently it's only Engel fridges that are exclude.

          from memory the credit takes 24-48 hours before its loaded in your account.
