    again some nice work TA.

  • Do you travel a lot TA?

    • +39

I only find the bargains, and let others enjoy them :)

      • +1 for that :)

      • +2

I reckon you enjoy seeing others enjoy.

        • "others"? Maybe it is just me who have a dirty mind.

  • +1

    Nicely Done

    doesn't include taxes?!?

cheapest i can find is $289 one way but after tax added it's about $688. (leave july coming back Aug)

Please advise if there's cheaper flight for other dates.

Is this an Malaysian airline? (just asking with the recently plane lost a bit scary!!!)

    • +2

Yes it's a Malaysian Airline. That took 3 seconds to Google.

      • +2

Air Asia was started in Malaysia. But it is not Malaysia airlines (the most recent crashed plane).

        • -2

They originate from the same place basically. And Malaysian Airline is supposed to be the higher class and safer of the two. Over to you to decide. Sometimes, you get what you pay for.

        • Full service NOT safer.

Edit: as in they both have to comply with the same safety regulations.

      • Does air asia include search and rescue + radar insurance?

        too soon?

    • you'll find that the difference relates to checked luggage for about $99 return.

    Thanks TA :-)

  • vote + for the subtitle. you so asian TA

He just use google translate. Terrible for translating whole sentence btw.

Thanks AllWins. I'm not Chinese - not sure why it matters what I am. And if I had to fly right now, I wouldn't hesitate for a minute getting on a Malaysian carrier. Not sure what your point is.

      • Maybe AllWins is friends with EC

        • Is that you Alun?

I'm also confused why being chinese or anything else would have anything to do with posting this deal.

        • I believe it is due to the majority of missing passengers being Chinese. I would imagine this is a very sensitive subject in China now.

        • Well the amount of screw up reports from the malaysian authorities in the media would cause anyone to boycott them really. Especially with the heavy coverage of the relatives of those dead in china. If I had lost my family on that plane, I'd be out for blood.

    • just back from another 5 country asian trip, do it twice a year on AirAsia. way better than Jetstar Australia, an awesome airline actually!

Malaysia is a developing or third world country, can't really expect them to have at the ready purpose built long haul aircraft to search this low.

their government is pretty screwed up, but that's Asia for you. Pick any third world country and it's all the same.

5 country asian trip, do it twice a year on AirAsia

May you hire me at whatever company you work for? If not, I'll send some adoption papers by morning.

      • Malaysia is not a developing and certainly not third world country. It is a newly industrialised economy with the third largest in ASEAN and the 29th largest in the world.

        • ,

        • +1

well I guess Parkistan is not a developing country either, because it's list 27th! and poor Switzerland , work harder!

        • -2

lol - have you been to Malaysia, Tommy?

my guess is probably no :)

        • You use the term developing country and third world country without knowing what it mean. It doesnt mean what you think it mean.
Malaysia is not a developing country nor are they a developed country. They are in a correct category of newly industrialise economy as stated by tommyc. A newly industrialise country is a country of good economic growth but are not yet show sign of a developed country.

Also use the term third world country. This is a correct as Malaysia is a third world country but it doesnot mean what you think it mean. Third world country is a term firstly use in the cold war to describe a country that was not apart to the Nato allied(USA/Eastern Europe/Australia AKA first world country) or the communist bloc(Soviet Russia/China AKA second world country). A third world country is not necessarily a poor country. Because the majority of the third world country are poor this term is miss use to describe a poor country. Because believe it or not Sweden and Saudi Arabia was/are consider a third world country.

    Malaysia airline?

  • +1

Air Asia is a Malaysian airline but is not related to Air Malaysia (Malaysian airlines).

And I wouldn't care btw if it was.

    • Yeah two completely different company. It's like Virgin Australia and Qantas. Both are Australian Airlines but not the same company.

    • -6

      All right, good night

      • -2

Vote down? Fine, if you don't care, why vote down?

  • If demand goes down, then prices hopefully go down too, and this is a win-win for us that like a bargain. :) I'd feel safer flying a Malaysian airline now then I'd probably did before.

Shanghai is great! I love it when I was over there. Check this out! Lots of good info.

    Suggestion for your Chinese:

    "今晚的折扣是飞往北京和上海的航班,均为世界人口最稠密的城市之一"

    this will make much sense:-)

    • BTW Personally I dont believe any Chinese will take plane via M'sia due to MH370 and attitude of M'sia gov

      • 没错。。。

    • 谢谢

      你从来没见过它

    • didn't know you are …

  • Just back from kl

Wouldn't hesitate to go back again to Penang

  • never enjoy the stopover flight.

    • Why don't you enjoy it?

  • If you haven't been to China before, don't forget to factor in the price of a Chinese Visa. Price varies depending whether you organise in person or by post, and whether you want express or standard waiting time.

This time last year I got an express VISA in person and cost me $110. Was organised in 3 days. Just thought I would make note of this often overlooked expense.

Btw, I'm a long time watcher, first time commenter. This is a great deal!! TA you have been my idol for a while on here. Keep the travel deals coming!!

    • Yah, TA is awesome for the travel deals!

off-topic again, get a Australian whatever visa for most of Asian country is nearly a nightmare (not only about the money spending)… so just get use of it … lolx

    • At least you get a luxury of paying for a visa. Most people from other country wont get a visa at all even if they havve the money to pay for it.
