  • Thanks, I have been looking around for sometime too under $400, but I could not decide the better one.
The mentioned one is in my list and here are other two. Hope to see some inputs here.

McCulloch M46 Petrol Lawn Mower $344

  • Looks like a 2 stroke, hard to tell when nothing is written…

  • Definitely 4-stroke, as it is a Briggs & Stratton motor (Victa make their own 2-stroke mower). I personally would prefer a Victa 2-stroke mower, when compared to the Briggs & Stratton, but don't think they are this cheap (not too sure though). Will last a lot longer, but even better again would be the Honda 4 stroke motor, but that gets expensive real quick.

    • +1

I got a Honda with my lawnmower from Big W, it was OSV or OHV or some other acronym with O and V in the title, it probably was a good engine but the air intake was incorrectly set by the manufacturer which I couldn't get set correctly until the neighbour helped me out and he fixed it with a rubber band.

It died when the kids decided to pour the 2 stroke oil inside the fuel chamber and add some chalk as well for good measure. Thanks kids.
