    Checking out the link for the previous Looney Amazon Deal, it appears they did some damage control with the reviews! There were a lot more than 85 reviews ;)

    These are two different sets. This deal is for "Looney Tunes Big Faces Box Set" while the one they stuffed up was for "Looney Tunes-The Complete Golden Collection".

  They are Region 2 so will only play in a multi region DVD and almost certainly WILL NOT play in a PS3 which are all region locked for both DVD and Blu Ray

    I am sorry and i have to disagree with you.

    As always, I tried hard to avoid posting bad deals or misleading information to my fellow Ozbargainers.

    I bought many DVDs from Amazon UK and played them in my PS3 without any drama.

      A lot of DVDs from the UK are both Regions 2 and 4. Strictly speaking Region 2 only DVDs will NOT play on Region 4 PS3s. I've got a set of Coupling to prove it.

      OTOH Blu-ray from the UK is Region B, which is exactly the same as Australia, which is why I give/gave Amazon UK a lot of my money.

    If you own this set and an Australian PS3, and it plays, you should note that too. This means the DVDs would've been confirmed as both Region 2 and 4 which I'm sure would be more attractive to those who only have a PS3 connected to the kid's TV.

      Region 2 dvds hardly ever play on region 4 players that havnt been unlocked. Only peception is region 2.4 disks or region 0 disks.
