I ordered one during the last deal and the quality was bad. Stitching came off from multiple places. The padding on one side came off on the strap. I returned it in just a week and got refund.

If you are planning to use the bag for laptop then please note that there is no padding at the bottom. which means if you put the bag down on concrete then it will feel like you are banging your laptop on concrete.

This bag may be good for documents and other items but not for laptops.

EDIT:- When I went to Harvey Norman big buys in Springvale they had few other bags in the price range of <$25. If you live near buy then you can choose and buy.

        • Stitching came off on one of my straps as well on the side. Not sure if it was there originally but just noticed it while using it. Must be factory second or sewing error like someone said.

        Pretty decent imo

Use them to carry around camera gear, they get thrown into the boot and knocked around heaps and still hold together well

        • Is there multiple pockets and stuff inside?

        • I can't say i would recommend it for camera use, at least not being rough with it. I am currently backpacking with a version of the Caribee, and after smashing a lens protector with a slightly rougher than normal knock i realised i should have brought my dedicated camera bag along instead. Also where the handle of the bag meets the rest of the bag, mine developed a tear and had to be resowed back together.

So in my opinion, for short trips with light and inexpensive equipment this is fine but anything more spend the dollars and get something of better quality.

        • sorry I should of mentioned the camera gear were like flashes etc, things that aren't as fragile

    • are they good bags?

I had a couple of caribee bags, both fell apart within 12 months of purchase, not the same as these, but just commenting on my experience of their products.

Got this bag from the same deal a few weeks ago. The bag is really nice for the price. For anyone looking for a straight forward back pack I'd recommend it, not so big and not too small. I use it for when I'm using my motorcycle and it stores my shoes, pants, shirts and other items with ease.

Had a caribee bag before this one and it lasted a really long time in rain and traveling overseas, this one feels like its good quality. Zippers are nice and sturdy and its got plenty of inner pockets. I must add that this bag has very little in terms of protection so I wouldn't use it for camera gear or expensive equipment.

TLDR: VERY basic bag, does its job and is good value for money if you need something simple to carry stuff around.

Thanks scruffy, I needed a carry-on for my japan trip.

  • it's tiny and can't carry heavy stuff i bet.

Anything this cheap must be either factory second or sewing error of the lining.

  • is there any other bag for the same price? i need a carry on for my europe trip
