In the market for cheap birthday cakes and remembered a Sara Lee Outlet on my way home from work. Looked them up and found some specials:

      never seen it either, my favourite ice cream flavour too, should be more common in supermarkets.

        Coles make their own brand of Rum & Raisin, $5 a tub is the regular price. Same size and shaped tub as the Sara Lee. Clicky here!

        Tastes really really good too. Not like a cheap crappy version. I wouldn't be surprised if it came from the same factory as Sara Lee's.

        I've always got a tub in the freezer. So good mmmm

    Did u get the chocolate cake?? How is it ??? Is that a frozen cake or a fresh one?

      Nah I didn't get one haha. I think the chocolate cake is way too big for the event planned. I'd guess it's frozen for transport. I will check it out today for you though.

      To be REALLY honest, I've never preferred typical pre-made cakes. I like making my own. Cheesecakes and bavarians etc I like semi frozen from the shop.

        Actually its pretty good. Its a big slab. They also do carrot cake same.

        I love the coffee pound cake.

    Checked out the Casula one today and they had heaps of stock and a range of other things too. Early Christmas for me. Everything was frozen and I picked up some tortellini for a few dollars which actually tasted amazing compared to Latina (or however you spell it). Not Sara Lee branded though.
