My guess is it's tied to firmware because my rooted S4 running stock android isn't recognised as a Samsung device.

The carpool mate, who mentioned this deal, got it going on Note 10.1 phone/tab & Galaxy Mega (something, the smaller-screen phone).

Anyone know if it can run on Samsung non-phone tab's, eg, Tab 2 [7"]?

I got Bloomberg Radio to work, in time to catch/save [in a format only it can play?] a Legal b'cast on USSC's election campaign contribution decisions, over the years… leading to SuperFunds.
