Logitech on Ear UE 6000vi Headphones $99 Pick up @ TGG

80

It was previously posted at ths price. I thought I would share it again if you are in the market for one.

Obviously it's cheaper if you can pick them up from the store otherwise it's $9 for Del. Used to be $2 hmmm.

I do not own a pair of these so I can not comment on the quality but I have read some good reviews.

Bought them last time. Nice headphones, comfortable fit due to memory foam padding. Noise cancelling rather limited, however. The noise cancelling also switches on the in-built amplifier, which emphasises the base. Sound is clear and powerful, but most true-to-original with the in-built amplifier off. Good value at this price, I think.

    • I think they are amazing, an opinion backed up by audiophile reviews rating them as the best closed headphones on the market. They are a touch bass heavy eq wise but have fantastic presentation, no muddiness despite the heavy bass, great soundstage, clear highs without sibilance.
Bassheads will get a real kick out of the NQ circuit which gives a fair bit of a Smiley face EQ and on some units a near imperceptible hiss which is inaudible with anything playing.
As noted the closed circumaural nature of the cans does a lot more for sound isolation than the NQ system which mainly deals with rumbling like train movement and plane/other vehicle engines.
There is certainly nothing else in the sub 200 band that can beat them, and you really need to go open back to get a better sound. Tho that said the top bose noise cancelling units have better isolation if that is what you need.

      • Oh and while I nearly went for black, they look totally styin in white, And they have one of the best unboxing experiences I have ever had. They also have so many wonderful textures, they feel amazing to hold and are really solid. The removable cord is great, despite it only coming with an iphone cable (now used by most smartphones).

        • Agree about unboxing. I reluctantly disposed of the box after half a year, because it was just too nice to throw :)

      • Circumaural? Are you perhaps getting these mixed up with something else, maybe UE 9000? These are on ear/supra-aural

  • I tried this headphone last weekend at DM, sound great but too expensive compare to amazon. Thanks to TGG that they have 50% discount which is the same price on Amazon. I picked up one in black today at Campbeltown store. There are a few there with $199 price tag. Thanks for your post.

If you have been thinking about beats, get these instead - they are a thousand times better, and have plenty of CLEAN bass when you want it (not sloppy booms like beats), just kick in the NC circuit.

    edit:
worth noting I have about a dozen pairs of reputed 'best value' headphones and earphones from about $25 to $250 in value and these are easily the best. I have also worked professionally in lighting, sound, promotions etc for many years and only heard speakers that were better value, very few headphones that were any better and they were many times the price.

These are easily the best value headphones on the market IMO, next best likely being the evergreen Sennheiser HD201 at about $25 on sale from time to time and seen round the world in studios as accurate enough to work with and cheap enough to give to musos to use LMAO.

  • Bought them instore, scanned at $95.00 pretty happy with them to use on the plane.
