Hong Kong Return ex Melb $495, Syd $475, Perth $423, GC $493 with AirAsia

710

Massive savings over the last deal to Hong Kong I posted 3 weeks ago. Haven't seen flights this cheap to HK in ages. Play around with dates to get the best possible prices for each city. Unfortunately, there are no AirAsia flights from Adelaide to HK. Good luck!

Used the following dates in this test:

Depart 02/05 Return 24/05 Melbourne
Depart 15/05 Return 18/06 Sydney
Depart 17/06 Return 29/06 Perth
Depart 21/05 Return 19/06 Gold Coast

Booking Period: 07 April 2014 - 20 April 2014
Travel Period: 08 April 2014 - 30 September 2014

If you feel fed up don't look at it. I am still waiting for my destination - GuangZhou to show up.

Good work as always by TA. (我喜欢紧屁股的交易 lol)

        谢谢 maxhu.

Which city are you departing from for Ghangzhou? Please let me know, and I'll see what I can find for you.

        • Flying from MEL. Thanks in advance

@maxhu: I knew you'd say that. AirAsia have no flights from Melb to Ghangzhou unfortunately. I'll take a look tomorrow and over the weekend to try and find you a deal with another carrier. I'll PM you if I find something reasonable. Cheers.

@chingchongy: Best I can find ex Sydney is $627 with AirAsia.

    price aint bad
have to transfer through Malaysia, so adds a bit more time
also u need to buy luggage and pay for each connecting flight (syd to mal, mal to hong kong)
so on average add around 100 bucks for lugguage

meals are quite cheap to add around 5 bucks

looking around 600 which is cheaper than Qantas and cathay (who have had 700-800 specials usually)

Well done. Please continue providing these posts

  • downside with airasia is you have to pay extra luggage for each leg of flight. and minimum 20kg, can't be less

there are many other places money can be saved…find a country whose airline can at least tell a honest story, not lies

  • This Airline and Country - no relation. Not sure why you bring this up here?
