I was in the market for one of these speakers a few weeks ago. This was one of the ones I looked at, I think it just a bit more than this price at JB (190 ish) at the time.
The sound on this thing leaves a lot to be desired. Packs a bass-y punch but pretty muddy overall. The looks of thing really turned me off as well (far more of a subjective subject than sound).
Ended up buying a JBL for just a bit more that sounded fantastic. Good price for this item though - seems there are a lot of them around (all the usual suspects are selling it)

I don't have an iphone so have no use for the dock, but the bluetooth works perfectly with my android and the sound is fantastic. I listened to about 6 units around this price point and this one was by far the best to my ears.
I got it for $220 but it was the last shelf unit so it's not really an indicative price

A 10 KG 100 WRMS bluetooth speaker. Wonder how bulky it is?
For something so big I wonder if it's worth getting something that can play over WiFi instead.
