    LOL. Another deal excludes WA.

    • +1

Yeah :/ no participating stadiums for WA

    • +9

Cause our stadium is too bloody small!!!

    • +1

      Not fair!

    • +4

Its going to get to the point where deals will assume WA is not included and we will need to start explicitly stating if it includes WA
      "$1.40 McFlurry Includes WA!!!"

    • +3

Discrimination against WA!! What the hell … Again? When stuff like this happens it just makes me wanna broden everything just to punish the greedy organisations.

  • Great stuff!!

    • +7

Out of bounds, you're a fool.

    • +5

Good thing that people with a brain consider your 'imo' to be as significant as a crusty dog turd on the sidewalk.

    • +4

Well it's a good thing we didn't ask your views or for you to break out your 'big words' then isn't it?

    • your life is lols

  • +2

Was about to buy Hawks v Giants then realised that I have MCC

    • Bit of a one sided game aye?

  • one gabba :)

  • +7

Wow, over a third of the price is a "small charge"? ;D

    • +18

The fees ticketmaster/ticketek charge on any event are exorbitant.
Paying by credit card? Extra. Want us to send you your tickets? Extra. Want to print the tickets yourself? You better believe that's extra!

    • I was thinking the same, how is that a "small charge", that is MASSIVE, the headline should include the total minimum cost including the handling charge, which is $20.10 for one ticket.

    • I need an extra ticket for Sat's game Port v Bris. Child ticket $4.50 + $5.25 booking fee + 1.95ish% Debit/credit card fee = $9.79 ish for a $4.50 ticket!

  • Is there an expiry for this?

    • +1

Season games and tickets can be purchased up until 4:59pm local time the Thursday prior to the selected game.

So looks like it's valid until 4:59pm Thursday 21st August 2014

WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE WA :( :( :(

    • +2

We poor folks are envious of all of you rich miners… Actually I feel sorry for ordinary folk when miners move into their town. The price of everything, especially housing, skyrockets. Their income stays the same.

  • Pity no visitor's passes to members…this is how variable ticket pricing should have been from the start!

  • A lot of non-event games listed, but priced well and worth an up vote!!!

  • Should be paying us $15 to go to GWS game but otherwise, great deal!

    • +2

$15 to watch a top 8 team seems fair

      • +4

Its 20+ to watch including booking fee if your a dad going with the kids or by yourself. A saving of about $2 over general admission bought at the ground. Not that great a deal.

        • What about mums? How does it wotk out for mums taking their cousins kids?

  • So it's only these games available? Like you can't get tickets for $15 to one of the blockbuster matches?

    edit: 'selected matches'

    • Far far from blockbusters!!! We've got Melbourne, Adelaide and Gold Coast down here, and GWS away! I have membership so I'm covered for the 3 home games, and I somehow don't think there'll be a need to reserve a seat!

  • Collingwood vs North Melbourne tickets all gone?

    • Yes I couldn't figure out how to get the tix for this game, as you need a barcode so I assume that all the $15 tix are gone or were never available to begin with.

So I went on eBay and got 2 tix for $80 on level 2 instead - real hard tickets and including shipping…. the same seller has two tix on Level 1 for $29.50 each if you want to see the game, that's your best option.

  • Where do you enter the code on the Ticketek website?

  • +1

LOL the only Geelong one is against the Dees. Not worth it. Thanks anyway, OP.

  • +4

Crowd numbers are in the toilet, so this is no surprise. 15 bucks seems pretty cheap to get in an experience Adelaide Oval. Looks good on telly….

  • Got a message saying this event is not yet open for Coll vs north match.. anyone know when its open.. thanks

    EDIT:: nevermind.. sold out

  • from memory matches are open from the start of the previous month - ie all of june opens may 1.

  • +2

Do yourself a favour and get to Adelaide Oval ASAP! Great experience, great stadium.

    • Compared to 95,000+ people at the G? Now that's an experience!!!

  • I still need an AFL Membership code? Unless I'm missing something…

  • +1

Tried buying a ticket to the Port vs Brisbane game tomorrow afternoon.

It's now asking for my membership numbers/code when it wasn't last night? What gives? :/

    • +1

add thanksafl or whatever it is into that field
      See ya there!

  • Sucks that WA miss out, but I spose that comes with both our teams being popular and performing well without the stadium to compliment that fact.

Anyone looking for a cheap day at the football, I do urge to go check out a WAFL game here and there - still a very high level quality of game played and they can use the support.

Plus the beer there is full strength. =P

  • +2

Step 1 use the tickettek link above dont worry about the telstra one

Step 2 select the game you want to go to.. under event information just leave it (it should give the date of the match and it defaults to afl reserve.. dont change anything in that field. click on the + symbol next to general admission and it will say telstra thanks offer - $15.00. under the member barcodes section put in Thanksafl and click get tickets.

step 3 next screen allows you to choose the number of tickets (if you cant it means the number of tickets has been exhausted and it will say There are no tickets available in this seating type.

hope that helps and thanks OP

    • thanks! copy and pasted :3 +1

    • Note that you can't do this for all matches yet - looks like you can only buy tickets one month in advance.

  • Thank you everyone!!! this post has been awarded popular deal by ozbargain! im so happy!

  • do you know why Western Australia is abbreviated to "WA"?

It's because that's the sound they make when they find out these deals don't apply in their state!

    :)

  • Has anyone who is not a Telstra customer actually used these tickets?
