Medion 40" FULL HD LED TV w/DVD Player (Refurb) $280 Pick up @ CCPU Computers

10

Please call store first as suggesting by lachyzee they could be refurbs but could not find it on their site.

I have bought some things from this place and I normally ring them first before I submit my order to check if the item is in stock first. Normally they charge between $5 - $15 delivery to Sydney Metro. Not sure about other Cities or States

I do not own a Medion TV so if anyone owns one it will be good if you can share your experience/quality. Price seems to be reasonable I guess, to use in your bedroom or for the kids. Normally they retail for $379

Might want to check that these are not refurbished first.

Often Aldi sell refurbed Medions to other places e.g. eSold: http://www.esold.com.au/31-5-full-hd-led-lcd-tv.html

    • Thanks for that. Suggest calling them first. It does not say refurbished on the site but they only offer 3 months warranty.

    3 month warranty

these are non repairable and have questionable reliability

come 4 months and it goes bang, youve done your money

    • 3 month warranty

It sounds like they are refurbs…

pretty misleading and deceptive advertising by this store not to mention that…

  • (answered above…)

  • Not sure about this model, though the 31.5" Medion model has a well known problem where it will one day stop turning on. Happened to me around the 1 year mark, luckily ALDI gave me a full refund.

Due to these TVs having questionable reliability, I definitely wouldn't pick up a refurb Medion TV with a 3 month warranty..

    • my 31.5" Medion has been going sweet for a year. though I am a bit disappointed that it has limited playback functionality. e.g. my soniq plays pretty much anything you throw at it, where as the medion struggles with some formats.

also the tuner is a lot weaker than the soniq.

  • Yeah, seems like 3 months isn't that great. Usually problems start to happen within the first year.
