  • Haven't checked the site - but the coupon will save us $1.99?

    • Correct - you'll receive free regular shipping Australia wide

  • How do we check for sizing? There doesn't seem to be a table or any information on your website.

    • size charts are included as a picture in the individual items pages

Note the comments on the previous deal.

How many more time are they going to launch their website? LOL

      • we've launched it recently and are now trying to spread the word - what better way is there than offering free shipping to the ozbargains community?

    • From our records the previous "free shipping" was meant to be expired on 22 April. It got marked expired early, and a few days later this deal pops up…

      • correct - I have changed the description of the ad slightly to be more clear on what's on offer. I've also made tweaks to our checkout system since there were a few glitches and added size charts to the item pages. all of this came up during the last promo. - cheers for all the feedback it's appreciated

  • How is the quality compare to Skin A400? I have 2 in the cart, waiting to press button.

    • thanks for the question. our garments are made from the same materials in a slightly different composition and thickness. the skins are top of the range garments retailing at around 100 AUD (exc. shipping) our garments offer the same benefits (moisture wicking properties, uv protection, faster recovery, etc) at a much lower price. they are slightly thinner and offer less compression however they also don't come with the price tag of skins.

      • Most tights on the market are moisture wicking and offer uv protection as well so what sets you apart from these cheap lyrca tights is the compression or as you call it 'faster recovery'. Now that's fine you are offering that in your garment and like you said at a much cheaper price tag compared to skins, but what science do you offer to back this up? Do you have any studies that says yes this product has the same material and also offers the same (maybe to a lesser) medical benefits as skins? I also ask what is slightly different composition mean?

        • thanks for your questions. the material is a polyester and elastane(spandex) mix. depending on the brand the ratio varies between 90/10 to 82/18(which is used by 2xu as well). there are various studies out there confirming the benefits of compression clothing, check out this one:

          interesting article on the subject:

we have sold hundreds to happy customers - they are what they are - $20 compression garments and not $100+ top of the line skins. our customers tell us that the amount of compression they get is decent and enough for the everyday workout/athlete.
          I hope this helps,
          Thanks

        • Don't worry I'm not arguing the benefits of compression garments what I am arguing is that those studies were done on medical grade compression products (such as the skins top the guy in the picture is wearing). As I am sure you know it does not just come down to material but how it is put together and also where the stitching lines are placed. I just think for you to post about the benefits of your products, yet you have no specific scientific benefits for YOUR products, it is slightly misleading or at best naive on your behalf.

        • I don't really understand what's misleading here. We don't claim to be skins or 2xu. as per our description, we offer 'entry level base layer compression items' at about $19.90 incl. free nationwide delivery. no we don't have scientific studies that back these exact items however as I said the material composition is similar and you'll get most of the benefits of more expensive items. if you're after top of the line skins like items I suggest getting skins for 100AUD+

As per my comments in the other thread, these "Take 5" garments do not compare to real compression wear from companies like 2XU or Skins.
So much so, that calling these garments 'compression' or comparing to those companies is very close to false-advertising.

Yes they might be made from the same materials, but the 'Take 5' garments are very thin and offer no actual 'compression'. They are fine for light weight base layer wicking undergarments, but don't expect anything more than that.

(I have/use multiples of each of the following)
Skins and 2XU products are significantly thicker, better quality and offer real compression, on special they are priced within the same range as the products here.
SIX30, Aldi (Crane) and Woolworths 'compression' wear (same price or cheaper than these) is thicker and offers more compression than 'Take 5'.
'Take 5' (or equivalent Ebay/Aliexpess 'Compression') is adequate as a wicking base layer but offers no compression at all and is very very thin.

Exactly the same products (or virtually identical equivalents) as sold here can easily be found cheaper on Ebay or AliExpress.

    • If you want Skins-like then perhaps try this

      • I recommend Skins if that's the quality you are after

  • "We stock entry level base layer compression items at a fraction of the cost of the big brands like Skins"

…and you get what you pay for.

    • that's exactly right - I have tried to convey this as clearly as possible. You'll get most of the same benefits at a fraction of the cost.

      • In your previous comment you said your products offer the same benefits as the more expensive brands, but now you are saying they only get most of the same benefits.

        Make up your mind.

The comments you have made in this thread are misleading.

  • Was after some kids pants/shorts, but the drop down on kids, there is nothing at all. Is this correct? Do you have any kids apparel? Ta

    • hi dazzza,
we do have kids pants and shorts in black and red in stock, they are just not listed yet - send us a message and we'll go from there: [email protected]

  • And lol at the size charts used for your womens clothing. They are exactly the same sizing as the mens items and the chart even has a picture of a man on it.

Not womens at all. Just advertise it all as unisex and be honest about it.
