      We have a dispute process that assesses the validity of each claim. This is done on a case by case basis and we offer incentives to the buyer and seller for successfully completing trades to ensure everyone wants the same thing.

    If you are a marketplace, how do you address the lack of liquidity due to having no users. Am I effectively trading against the 'house'?

      We are a marketplace, you are not trading against 'the house'. when you create a listing a buyer will be paying you directly.

      Being only a new marketplace we are building our user base and will address the liquidity issue with time. Our goal is to build a community of trusted sellers, with a buying process that is easy.

      Great question, we have looked into many options and consulted a few lawyers on this topic and have built our business model to work within these boundaries.

      Currently we do not touch fiat currency and hold customer funds, this solves this licensing issue for us.

        How does that work? You are allowing trading to fiat pairs and allowing fiat withdrawals…

        I am a bit sussed out about joining an illiquid exchange that might go bust just like First Meta and many other small exchanges.

        Free trades are pointless if the spreads are large.

        I can't tell if your platform is supposed to look more like localbitcoins or btc-e

          Keep in mind we are a marketplace not an exchange. The key issue we are addressing here is the safety and control, which you won't get from any bitcoin exchange at the moment.

          We don't have fiat withdrawals, only digital. To convert digital to fiat you will need to list it in the marketplace and a buyer will pay you directly, we will hold the coin in escrow and take a small fee (if you do not have a free account.

    I've only ever noticed a few definite scams on eBay and all involved escrow as trading… probably just blowing smoke out my a$$ but just a heads up.

      It depends whether or not you can trust the escrow company. The scams I've heard of are where the seller and the escrow company are in cahoots*; so you don't get the goods or your money back.

      *Scams are best described in the lingo of a 50s flim-flam man.
