i remember back in the day i joined a chain gym for their free 14 day trial. then they tried stinging me with a "joining fee" once i was ready to sign up. i told them i had already joined as part of the free trial.

I found at most gyms you can almost always have the joining fee waived if you ask for it, or negotiate a little.
What about the $60 CARD FEE?

They'll always try to make it up somewhere else.

What I'm saying is that they offer you a $0 joining fee, then tell you that you have to pay $60 to activate your card.
Another offer in 3 months time might be a $50 joining fee and only $10 to activate your card… at the of the day you still pay $60 :)
I remember when I joined Jetts a while back I paid $10, I can't see how the same service today would cost $60.
might wanna add that its first 150 people, and the location.
