I'm not much of a microwave-ist, but I am a bit of a Panasonic fan and when I see prices like this I tend to get hot so I hope I'm qualified in posting this ;) It's amazing how much these things have dropped since the last time I looked. A quick check of prices shows this to be a decent bargain.

  Not worth it. Would only consider 1200W microwave. Unless you are very patient and don't mind waiting 50% longer.

  Panasonic used to be good when it was made in Japan.
  Now it's just cheap crap.
  We purchased the new Panasonic flatbed non turning microwave a few years ago and it's the biggest
  mistake we ever made, getting rid of our 20 year old Panasonic for the new bit of rubbish!
  Uneven cooking, sticking door lever just CRAP!

    Still got a sharp from 1978 and it's going strong, if it's not broken you shouldn't replace it

  800W is good for reheating. Could be useful in a small office and at least it's a good brand name rather than generic names at that price.

    Glad I bought one before they removed Click&Collect. I had been looking for one to replace my 10yo+ microwave which has been playing up. I was closed to buying the Breville 34L+ microwave at Target which regularly pops up on OzB for $110 but it's a larger machine than what we wanted. I'm only using it to reheat. It's only 84 bucks, and in my book Panasonic wins over Breville :).
