Yep i got BF3 from Humble, however because origin is such a POS, I've never been able to play it.
you must have really bad luck or a shitty PC. i've pumped over 600 hours into BF3 and BF4 without any origin issues

i had the well known issue of the game getting to 96 % then going back down to 40% i probably downloaded at least 50GB of bf3 before i gave up
i just went and torrented the game and put them in the game files
origin support wouldnt help
Nothing to do with my PC which is a fairly new, decent build. The horrid origin client would never let me log in properly, and their web page is just as bad; links that lead you around and around and solve nothing
Note BF won't work if your pc region (System locale) setting is set to anything other than English. I had mine set to Japan and all I got was DirectX errors.
How is the Aussie multiplayer community on bf3? Still alive?
I got BF3 pre purchase for about $99 sice i enjoyed BC2 so much.
