      no not really, people are just more savvy & price aware.

      No longer are business able to overcharge with customer knowing its cheaper online or elsewhere.

        Online sales reportedly now account for 4% of Dick Smith's total retail sales.
        Probably excludes 'Click & Collect' from online sales, is my guess.

        And if anyone's having trouble sleeping, here's the 164-page prospectus of their float last year.

      I watched a documentary about this on abc once, sales are all just a marketing ploy. People feel better when they think they are getting a deal, I guess why this website is so successful. In reality they price the things higher to allow for the sale. :)
