  I am really interested to know how they may wish to verify one's status as a Mother if one were to rock up sans child(ren).

  A 16 year old can be a mum, does one simply declare they are from Maddington / Gosnells / Rockingham?

    Actually they'll just get one of the orangutans to stand next to the gate, and if he greets any visitor like he would a fellow simian (the greeting usually incorporates scatological traditions of some kind), you're free to enter.

    I've been before on Mothers day, and it was fine.
    Except for the parking, which is always a hike if you arrive late.
