    My Amazon account is AU (only has an AU address and credit card) but I'm getting:

    "We are sorry

    You are not eligible to purchase this app due to geographical restrictions. (Why?)"

    Anybody know how to fix?

      Go to Your Account -> Your Apps and Devices
      Change your 1-Click Settings and make sure the default address is in Australia

          Yup same here. Changed address, logged in/out, address is clearly set to AU. Cant get apps.

          I just had a few issues getting them via the appstore on my Galaxy! In the end I clicked on full site, logged into my account, then clicked on 1 step. It now says I have them!

          Go to amazon.com then select Manage Your Kindle, select Country Settings then change US to Aus. You may also need to go to amazon.com.au and do the same.

    I'm registered with Amazon US and without changing any country settings, was able to log into the Aus site and get these apps. Wasn't able to get any of their free books without completing the region change.

        I had the same problem.
        Like udyz said… + Log in, change to full desktop site, click on '1 step'. It'll add it to your cloud. Then go into the Amazon app, tap on top left, Go to My Apps, Cloud, and refresh… They should appear there for download!!!

    I've been using my amazon.com account to "purchase" free amazon.com content for ages. I recently clicked on a link for Australian content and was prompted to change my account to an amazon.com.au account, which I did and successfully downloaded. Problem now is that I can no longer get US content, so I switched it back and now receive emails asking me to verify my US address or my amazon account will be suspended. I can get around this by connecting to a US VPN when I select content from amazon.com links, but this is a pain in the butt.

    Had anyone else had this problem switching from US to Aus and back again with their Amazon account ? Is there a better solution ?
